The best thing about this clinic is that you do not have to be a patient here.

After failing to make a referral to the relevant department for two years, my new GP not only sent it to the correct department on the same day as the appointment, but I am also being seen two weeks after said appointment. The referral is for a simple blood test to check for a condition that can cause heart issues.
Completely unprecedented for a gp practice to be able to send a referral to check your heart health.

Don't worry, it can always be worse, and for this practice, it is. They actually repeatedly fail to send referrals if you have complex disabilities that need specialist support which the practice cannot manage.

Make a complaint? Don't bother. Had to chase them for a year and beg them to follow any step of their own complaints procedure or even at least answer any actual aspect of the complaint just for them to later go cry to ombudsman you never filed a complaint and waste more of your time to re-do the complaint, which they will promptly fail to answer following their procedures and fail to answer any of the points of the complaint.

Stay as far away as possible from this practice, especially if you need regular healthcare access.

I had a mental health review today with a wonderful lady called Charlie. I broke down. She was completely understood, not judged, listened, no text book jargon. She referred me to MH services. She is a credit to the practice.

I've had a chesty cough for 5 Weeks Now , Every time I ring For an appointment , All I get is Ring in morning at 8 o'clock , You Ring at 8 o'clock Sorry there's no appointments Try ringing at 8 o'clock in the morning . I had to ring for an appointment for a doctor. I got an appointment at 10:00am that morning and was told that I needed a blood test. I was offered an appointment for 10:40am that morning. They updated the NHS app quickly with my results and now waiting for a prescription.

The one question they follow is why make it better when we can make it worse, would be great if two or three of them changed professions

Absolutely shocking appointments system. I ring daily at the exact times stated to book a doctors appointment and I’m not getting through and it’s always engaged. When I do get through after almost an hour of calling over and over and over I am told “ sorry all appointments are taken for today call back tomorrow”.

This has been this way for a long while it’s ridiculous needs investigating further.
