Rude receptionist. Asked if I could book in for my 91 year old mother for a covid booster, she just said a firm, no. I had to almost prise the information as to why not. They weren't doing them until the winter, asked her advice, and she was totally unhelpful. I then asked to book my mother an appointment as asked by the doctor. Again, no, do it on line. I asked how an elderly person, with no access to a computer ( or without computer knowledge ) is supposed to manage that. She more or less said, it's not their problem . I left the surgery, and felt really deflated. We had to change surgery's through a house move. Wish we d never changed her doctor. It's near on impossible to get an appointment or to speak to anyone . The booking system is useless, and rude reception staff should be a little more compassionate and helpful.

Doctors surgeries get a bad rep but actually I can’t really fault CMC. Whenever I or my daughter have been in need we’ve been looked after.

Clevedon medical centre have always been brilliant, staff are friendly, luckily ive managed to get an appointment the same day I’ve rang (most of the time) and have always had a pleasant experience when I’m there.

If their was an option for zero stars i would use it.
1. You will never get an appointment or see a doctor here. You stay on hold for hours and then they hang up before you speak or abruptly direct you elsewhere . If you are over 65 and only want a repeat prescription you will be fine
2. A few years ago my wifes life was put at risk and i was of the opinion that it started with a missed opportunity (being careful of my words) at this practice. After complaining it was clear that the surgery had done all it could to blame 'others' rather than investigate a clear breakdown in duty of care that started with them. We were left tired and a bit bewildered afterwards and never pursued it further (The outcome i think they wanted). My opinion and views on this practice have not changed since then and if anything have got worse

Rang to simply ask for a prescription I desperately need. Get told to go online and fill the form in. I explained what was wrong, said I'd had tests at the hospital recently and the dr said depending on the results she would give me a stronger medication. I'm suffering with my symptoms, got told by the rude receptionist, I can't give you an appointment for that! She obviously has never suffered with my problem clearly! Still waiting for a call back 4 days later.!!!
