Excellent surgery until recently.

They are introducing an online triage system called anima and until it goes live they are accepting no routine GP appointments.

It was due to go live on 23 October 2024 except, of course, they have had unforeseen IT issues. They'll fix them "in due course" - note the absence of a deadline. In the meantime, it's on-the-day appointments only.

I called this morning at 8AM. Busy tone. I gave up after 20 minutes and went to the surgery direct. Reception doesn't open until 9AM so I called again at 8.40AM. 23rd in queue, then an automated message saying that the bookings for the day were full.

How hard can it be?

Initial contact was acceptable. I was referred for an ultrasound scan and expected some form of communication from the surgery as a follow up. I waited 4 weeks for a response - nothing. I then contacted the surgergy by phone and could only get a phone conversation with a doctor in another 25 days. Is this the new norm? Am I expecting too much?

Excellent all round care and service. Reception staff so helpful and friendly and all staff I’ve had interaction with have been nothing but friendly, professional and kind. (Including Badhams.) Surgery and waiting are also very very clean.

This surgery has been fantastic, I’m so pleased we moved to here. The drs and nurses are lovely. The reception team are very polite and friendly. I have always managed to get an appointment when needed. Never kept waiting for ages in the waiting room like my old surgery that used to run an hour behind sometimes!

Our first visit to Cleevelands, it’s a clean, fresh, spacious and a modern doctors surgery, easy to find with parking. Reception staff were lovely and I cannot thank Dr Louis and Dr Brookes enough for such friendly and professional consultations both in person and over the phone. Excellent customer care and the online booking service is great.

I had a 12 week plan to stop vaping, with Natasha.
Natasha was very helpful, understanding. Didn’t judge. And gave me lots of good advice on how to keep vape/ cig free! Highly recommend seeing Natasha if that is something you need help with.
I managed to stop smoking and started using vapes- which I found a lot harder to quit. I needed extra support with this.
Natasha reminded me how well I had done and was very supportive that I had managed to complete the program!
