Clear Links have been very helpful for me whilst doing my degree.
The guidance and support I've been provided while studying with a disability has made a huge difference.

My Mentor is the best, very understanding and supportive to me in our regular sessions, we can also meet for a coffee which keeps it relaxed or have sessions online, for someone who struggles with anxiety this is beneficial.

As a student who moved away from home, it is very reassuring to have this kind of support.

As a student in the past I’ve found it difficult to convey how I’m feeling in some ways to lecturers, but this year having Clear Links Support helping me talk about what’s going on, and speaking about things that can help me etc has been great, it’s given me the confidence boost I need to get me through the year as a student whilst helping my mum with caring for my dad.

I have been provided a mentor through Clear-links since September 2022. This support has been super helpful throughout the academic year, helping with managing my time to find a balance between studying and downtime, building my confidence. They approach everything in a really friendly manner, and you have full autonomy over how and what areas you most feel you need support. When contacting the office they are also very helpful and friendly. Highly recommend this service to anyone needing a mentor.

I attended study skills sessions with my study specialist’s at clear links and I must say that they are extremely helpful. They helped me organize and prioritize my assignments and exams, and provided me with the extra support I needed to manage my dyslexia. I have been granted support through Clearlinks and have found it to be incredibly helpful especially as a mature Masters student. They will arrange sessions around your schedule, my specialist support is great and has been a great benefit and they keep you informed at every step.

My weekly sessions have helped me SO MUCH, in so many different areas.
My mentor has been friendly , approachable and knowledgeable from our first meeting and she is completely dedicated to assist me in every way she can to ensure my anxiety levels are kept at a minimum.
