Completely impossible to get an appointment as they never answer the phones, instead they have a message telling you to use the website. The website is a complete shambles. It just tells me there are no appointments every time I use it. I have been trying to get an appointment for 5 weeks to let them know I’m pregnant. I suspect the baby will be born before I can get to see someone!

I would like to say best doctors practice I have ever been seen. Every doctor I have seen there takes time with us and make sure they cover everything. Honestly so grateful I’m in the area of this doctor’s surgery.

This 1-star review is concerned with the GP’s administration; as I did not receive any treatment I cannot speak to the quality of their medical practice.

I scheduled an appointment over the phone a week in advance. On the day of my appointment, I arrived at the practice 10 minutes before the specified time, only to be unapologetically turned away by the receptionist because my appointment had been cancelled — yet I had not been informed of this by any means whatsoever.

While I understand the administrative reason behind the cancellation — which will not be spelled out here for reasons of privacy and is in any case irrelevant to the matter at hand — I would have appreciated the common courtesy of notice. A simple phone call, text message or email would have sufficed to save me the time and effort in scheduling a futile visit. How is it acceptable to unilaterally cancel a confirmed appointment with someone — let alone a patient — without even attempting to inform them of such?

I recently had a chat with Dr. Angela Orji, which was quite disappointing. From the beginning, she was not very polite. The reception on the phone was poor, and I couldn't hear her properly. When I asked her to repeat the question, she did so rudely and impatiently.

I explained my issue to her and mentioned that I had a letter from the trichologist. She asked me to read out the blood test requests from the letter, and when I did and she laughed at my accent and pronunciation a couple of times.I felt very uncomfortable, especially since I am dyslexic and have social anxiety. When she asked me a question and I replied, she said that I didn't understand her question, which I did and answered.I felt so discriminated against because of my foreign accent. Just because I am not a native English speaker does not mean I should be treated this way. Such discrimination has no place in today's world, especially in healthcare and when some of the GP aren't native English speakers. After the conversation, I opened the NHS app and saw that she mentioned in my symptoms that English is not my first language. It felt like a warning to others that I cannot communicate properly, which is very rude and unfair. This experience is especially sad because I was previously very happy with this GP practice and everyone else treated me respectfully.

Doctors are great - if you can ever get hold of them. Used to be accessible even with officious gatekeepers on reception alas no longer; as someone who's generally healthy I'm finding it increasingly difficult to even get a simple repeat prescription let alone actually speaking to anyone. The new online system is timely and inefficient and is a barrier to healthcare access when you actually need it; how anyone can be expected to fill out a ridiculous multiple choice form when they're really suffering in pain when a simple call will suffice is beyond me . . . . you were a good practice; seriously think you need to review your processes
