Phoning them up is impossible I tried 15times to on 6th January and every time I just got the answer machine so when your in dire straights it is pointless Phoning them in the meantime im suffering in silence as per usual

Disgusting service.. phone a number that no one answered in 20 trys? Leave 2 messages asking for call back to make appointment with reason why help needed and contact information they don't respond... states go before 10am wait in line to try to get help? W8 get told to phone number only ... disgusted with the way you are treating people

Excellent place. Staff were extremely helpful with me and listened to everything I said without judgment. Can't fault them, especially Liza who helped me.

Unfortunately they weren't of any help whatever. When trying to get an appointment you speak to a receptionist who asks why you want to see someone , to then tell you someone will call in the next week to speak to you and make an appointment if they deem necessary which can take 2-4 weeks so forget it if you need help quickly. I remember when Citizens Advice were actually very good and extremely helpful, you could pop along and wait to see someone who would then give you follow on appointment if needed. Pity they are not very good anymore.

I attended the CAB on Whitegate Drive, Blackpool recently to obtain some advice (and yes, I'm a citizen 😁).

The woman I spoke to, who's name I think was Sharon, but I may be wrong, she was great, very calm and collected, reassuring and knowledgeable about the subject matter at hand.

I'm back there in early-January to move the matter forward, but she has really given me peace of mind over Christmas.

I went there for some information, the door was locked. One lady opened the door and she was not helpful. Did not listen to me just gave me one paper with contact number. She said I have to take appointment by phone.
I called them.... Nobody picked up and I left voice message. Later one lady called me back and she was arrogant, did not listen what I said.

She interrupted my speech. I then directly did the same to her so that she could feel how much of a jerk she was. Even she was outraged. She wanted to dictate a phone number, so I interrupted her and told her the number. Then, in her arrogant style, I thanked for her exceptionally bad work and hung up the phone.

I don't know why they don't listen to the people properly....
Everybody is different, use different words but they have to be support everyone!
Very bad experience!

I would just like to say that your case workers Fiona Williams and Jane zazzu visited my home, without the help of these two lovely ladies I wouldn't have being able to cope with the paperwork, and everything else that went with it, this for me has being invaluable,

I visited this morning 1st feb 2024. The woman who answered the door was rude and very unpleasant: who do some of these people think they are? It’s laughable.
Ive lived in this area all my life and never used this citizens advice before and it has certainly put me off returning.
