Circle MSK in Hampshire are very professional and knowledgeable.
When I visit them I feel listened to and cared for.
Also, the location chosen to have a consultation is very centric and it is easy to park.

My wrist has a history, of open fracture and torn ligaments. Every year or 2 it flares up, swells and is so painful that I can't put any pressure through, with a flat hand, hence I come in for treatment, a steroid injection always provides long term relief. The service historically has been decent.

However something has drastically changed in 2024 at Circle MSK. They sent me to a 3rd party, who had more interested in number scores of pain for allocated exercises than actually addressing the problem.
I was given exercises to do from an app and our follow up appointments, were just about looking at the pain score of the exercises. It then ended after just 3 sessions, the reason given was that the NHS on give us 3 appoints for you.
He then said, continue with the exercises and re-refer yourself if the pain gets worse, but I intervened stating but the pain was the same, he said oh but it's actually comedown, look at the combined pain score of the exercises.
It's such a ridiculous calculation, because yes some of the exercises became easier which brought the over all score down, but the key pain of being unable to put any pressure through the wrist, was unchanged. He just said, it should come down over time!

Feeling that the treatment being woefully inadequate, I was re-referred by the GP, (who agreed with me).
After 1 week MSK acknowledged the referral, stating that they can see me for an assessment in 14 weeks time!!!!

What an absolute disaster, please explain how 3 appointment at looking at scores followed by an assessment 14 weeks later helps anyone

I was seen by Anthony Wilson. He sent me to MRI scan without my permission and without informing about the charges. I was left without any information at all. There was anyone to clarify me this. It was my first time my GP refers me there. I have wasted time and money. I am really disappointed. How am I going to pay the huge amount of money I was told, I should have been informed previously. As I was informed by my GP to go for treatment I thought it was all linked to NHS procedures. Please could someone advice me how to proceed

I was sceptical that exercises would not improve my rotator cuff injury, but thought I would give it my best shot and do the exercises before resorting to a steroid injection, which would not be the best long term solution, but would give me much longed for short term gain. After a month of following programme can honestly say my pain and limited mobility has improved by at least 90% !

Had an excellent physio session today after being passed around the houses and inexperienced people. Courtney Doran at Circle Integrated Care was excellent, she took time to understand my challenges, was non judgemental and gave a really in depth assessment and recommendation of exercises. I have seen Mark Westbrook this morning at the Circle Integrated Care facility. He was very helpful and clear and explained what he thought my medical issues were. As it happens he felt I needed to return to my GP for further investigations. He also gave me some good advice regarding hand and wrist exercises.

A brilliant service.

I was referred to Circle by my GP with a recurring shoulder pain after suffering from an impinged shoulder in 2021. I had already tried to rehabilitate it with osteopathy, chiropractic treatment and sports massage. None of these treatments were particularly helpful for me.

The physio who treated my shoulder, (Nikita), was fantastic.
After 6 sessions of physio treatment, along with regularly doing the prescribed exercises at home, the pain has gone and I no longer have any issues with my shoulder.

The people I spoke to at Circle were consistently friendly and helpful, and my appointments were on time.

I've been seeing Afeez for a shoulder injury for a number of mths. I have to say he's one of the best physios I've ever used. Very thorough with initial examination, clear instructions on exercise regime to follow, and a positive 'we can fix this' attitude. After each visit I feel I've been given great advice and help.
