Absolutely awful experience my colleague was waiting for appointment 2 weeks . When she arrived, after been sick, struggle and feel very weak, she find out that doors are closed and nobody is inside at 16.00.
It appeared that there is staff training and no-one informed her before . On nhs app appointment was still visible .
Awful and disrespectful behaviour towards patients.
This is a joke to provide such a bad service in 21 century .I hope they will learning smth from " training"

Absolutely terrible customer service, the website doesn't work. Even when you do eventually get through on the website as they won't answer the phone and request a call, you'll receive a text message instead.
I had a blood test done three weeks ago, every time I request a call with my results they text me instead and say that they don't have them yet, I have to chase up my own blood test results. So I contacted the place where I got my blood test done and they have told me that there's not a number for members of the public to call, and that it's my doctor's responsibility to chase them up.
All I want is my blood test results I had to fight so hard to even get a blood test and there's literally no care for people's health.

I’d like to say that I was worried leaving my old surgery because I moved and had heard negative comments about church lane BUT !!! Oh my goodness it was the best move I ever made the reception girls are fantastic kind and understanding and they really do care ! Each doctor I have Sean listen to me the never make me feel rushed I have lots of medical needs and living with cancer so have to go in regularly for my implant ! They make it enjoyable they understand my dark sense of humour and know when I’m not myself and ALWAYS make time for me . The online booking has never been a problem it’s easy to use and I always get to see a doctor within a reasonable time , people just need to understand what the word “triage “means as unlike the old days the staff are trained to triage who is in urgent need , also remember if your in the waiting room and waiting longer then expected just think ? someone could be going through a bad time or have a relative that has died or a baby or child that may need longer to feel ok about the doctor examining them … just be kind be patient be supportive if we all reduce the stress and just understand the way it is now then it will be ok x thankyou to the girls on reception all the nurses and doctors I’ll be bringing in biscuits to stock you all up xxx

Worst GP I have ever witnessed. Can never get appointments. They don’t listen to your needs! Say away from this practice. Nothing but bad experiences and my overall condition has only worsened. So I’m leaving this one. Hope this helps anybody looking to join.

Useless. Called they said they'd send me a referral link... never sent it. Few months back they said theyd call me in a month, never got the call, called them to see why and they had the wrong number and I had to wait another month. A&E sent them a referral they claim they never got it and I have to self refer. When I went for blood test I had to wait extra 45 mins because they where behind. List goes on. Was told i'd get a phone call in a week and i never got the phone call. Takes 20 minutes to get through to them and then they just fob you off and do absolutely nothing. Beyond useless. I need to call again to actually get the link.

I have had a very positive experience with Church Lane Surgery from all nurses and doctors. It has improved since I first registered in 2021. I’ve had a particularly good experience with Nurse Practitioner Sam (I don’t know her last name) most recently. She listens, is reassuring and is easy to speak with. My MH and physical health has improved because of her help as I was nearly at a crisis point. Thank you!

The most inept lazy neglectful surgery I've ever dealt with in my whole life..should be struck off or at least investigated ...never known such an appalling service from supposed professionals...avoid signing up to this surgery.. the decision to look elsewhere will one day save your life

Impossible to get through on the phone. There is an extremely long recorded message. If you want to get an appointment or make any kind of enquiry you have to fill out a form but this can only be done at 7.30am! Once the capacity for appointments has been reached you cannot fill out the form and if you call no-one answers. In terms of obtaining an actual appointment the triage online system was efficient, but in terms of customer service for enquiries this is appalling. I also think it is an unacceptable practice for people who are older and do not know how to use the internet.

Quote from the website 'Our online form will be open Monday-Friday from 7.30am -15:30pm or until capacity has been reached. This gives you the flexibility to contact us at a time more suited to you.'

^^^ There is no flexibility! It is only convenient if you are able to fill out the form quickly dead on 7.30am before the form is no longer accessible. What happens when people cannot access the internet at that time?
