I recently had the pleasure of visiting Chris Woods Eyecare in Guiseley, and I can’t recommend them enough! From the moment I walked in, Chris and his team’s attention to detail was simply outstanding. They took the time to listen to my needs, making sure I was completely satisfied with every step of the process.

I was fitted for two stunning new pairs of Tom Ford glasses, and the team made sure the fit was perfect. As a bonus, they even gave me a free pair of lenses for my Ray-Bans, allowing me to keep them as a backup! It’s rare to find such thoughtful service, and it truly shows how much they care about their customers.

In addition to the glasses, I was also given a complimentary, in-depth hearing test as part of their Eyecare Plan, which was a pleasant surprise. It’s clear that Chris Woods Eyecare goes above and beyond to provide comprehensive care and top-notch service.

I arrived at Chris' shop at 16:45 one Thursday evening to collect my glasses. Chis took his time and did not make me feel rushed at all. Chris was so thorough when checking the fit and making sure I was 100% happy before I left. Aftercare explained well and his shop is beautiful. Highly recommended and I LOVE my frames 😍

Super pleased with the glasses and eye exam and, as most people do once they get a bit older I have a reasonably complicated prescription but the eye exam was really through and the resulting prescription for my varifocals perfect - no longer having to look over the top of my glasses to read. Then the selection of frames is really comprehensive and stylish. No need to schlep into Leeds for some cool glasses. Not only are the team knowledgeable and approachable but also even let me do a quick work call in the examination room when I spent so long choosing lost track of time and nearly forgot to dial in! Honestly -

Chris Woods is brilliant at what he does. I’m really pleased he’s opened his own practice.

As a lifelong glasses wearer with a fairly hefty prescription, I need someone who understands what frame works well on my face. Chris’ style suggestions (and range) are spot on, always communicated in a personal, honest way.

His practical skills are superb (for example buffing up a previous pair of rather battered specs to look like new and fitting them with new lenses for me to run in). But it’s his personal and customer service skills which really mark him out.

With Chris dispensing and the excellent Sohail testing, this is a great combination.

I’m delighted with my new glasses. Thank you, Chris.

Excellent range of glasses and great service!
I recently bought a pair of Tom Ford glasses from Chris Woods Eyecare with transition, polarised, and varifocal lenses, and I couldn’t be happier.
The staff were really helpful, and my glasses were ready in just 7 days, even though they had to be sent out for custom lenses. I was so impressed that I decided to have another set of my old glasses re-glazed.

I recently visited Chris Woods Eyecare after noticing a decline in my eyesight (it's not as sharp as it used to be). Sohail is absolutely brilliant — his professionalism and friendliness made me feel at ease throughout the appointment. He conducted a very thorough eye exam and I appreciate that he took the time to explain each step, especially given the advanced technology they use.

The level of patient care was outstanding, and all the staff were lovely. I really can’t recommend them highly enough.

As soon as I walked I was welcomed by Chris,he straight away put me at ease(have a family history of eye disease so always feel nervous)he passed me on to Sohail who vigorously checked my eyes.
The equipment is absolutely superb.
My glasses where ready in two days.

Chris was very helpful - not only in general topics of frame shape and style - but particularly in my first move into vari-focal lenses. He explained all the technology and the process. He was very helpful and didn’t force any aspect of the sale.
