My GP Dr Mulkeen is excellent. She is person centred, friendly and caring, giving me informed advice and choices with regards to my health care needs. She is extremely personable, approachable and is a really good listener. I always feel in safe hands.

The new booking system was amazing. I filled in my details and was contacted really quickly and invited to an appointment the same morning. I felt really listened to by the GP who was thorough, kind, gave me informed choices so it felt like we were partners in my treatment. What an amazing experience. I really felt valued by CFP.

Eventually I saw a Lovely nurse Louise but all I wanted was for a clinician to take a look at a very large bruise on my arm after a blood sample was taken. to get this I had to complete a referral at reception. The following day I received a message to send a photo. I needed help with this so had to return to reception to get help. I immediately I got a phone call and opportunity to see a nurse at a near by practice. It all felt a bit overly bureaucratic. Maybe a photo could have gone with initial referral or I could simply have been asked to wait until a clinician in the practice had a few minutes to take a look.

I cannot believe my experience at this practice.

My first appointment I was seen in 3 days
Second appointment - seen that day.
Third appointment seen in 2 days.

Feel very looked after ?

I know the NHS is struggling but I can honestly say this has been a fantastic service.

Other practices should follow this model.

Care for children is great at CFP,quick, efficient and thorough. Triage nurses are fantastic too and all early years stuff. However the adult care is patchy. Never the same doctor (which is often the case I appreciate) and very varying care depending on who you get. Misdiagnosis and reluctance to see you more than once. Also the appointment system is open for a very limited window each day. Staff lovely when you see them but clearly an over subscribed surgery. Since they merged with Corkland they do seem overwhelmed.

The new appointment system they have put in place has made it absolutely ridiculous to make appointments
I am a type 2 diabetic and they want you to see a different doctor after seeing the same doctor for 5 years. As they can’t offer any appointments to be booked you have to call back 2 weeks time to then try and book again
I am glad my parents aren’t using these doctors as they don’t seem to care about the patients when it comes to making appointments
I going to try and move out of the area as I know other doctor practices do not have the same booking systems.
It’s our heslth not booking an appointment for a car or a bike. My vets are better

Feel so full of gratitude to have this practice as my own. The doctors are kind, empathetic and efficient and I always leave feeling better than when I arrive. Thank you in these days of a stretched and stressed NHS I feel very lucky to have you!

No email address unless you REALLY search - quickest feedback EVER has been to make a review here! No appointments in 3 weeks if even over the phone - bad phone reception support of any use, no integration of My MFT or NHS services: impossible to get anything... just go to a walk in centre if you are well enough to. I'm so sorry to most NHS overworked staff and those dying. I've now given up! Good luck to all x
