Waited for an hour for my pre-arranged appointment!
Reception: rude
Technology: you feel this is a place from War times - no self checking,
WC hygiene: terrible
Clinic rooms: you feel you are in a depot not in a medical practice
Overall cleaning and sanitation and fresh air : terrible

I know there are no alternatives and so sad NHS monies goes this place…

Worst practices that I have ever seen! I have sprained my ankle, have been requested Alan from them and more than 3 weeks later they still don’t have the results ! Have been told that I have to call the hospital and ask for results, no matter that during the XRey scan have been told that results are immediately sent back to GP. I have been left more then 3 week in pain and liar the end I have to call hospital!!! That is absolutely unacceptable. If you can avoid them!

I called the practice at 8am yesterday ( Monday 21/10/24) begging for an appointment as I was feeling terrible ( continuous long term cough, racing pulse having been on a 14 hour turbulent flight) and had already been fobbed off by 111 at the weekend. The practice has made the appointment system overly complicated to avoid seeing to patients. The triage person had no empathy . I am not someone who hassles doctors all the time and in the past 20 years must have only used the Chislehurst practice 3 or 4 times only. I was told I would be put on a doctor's list on Wednesday and then the doctor would decide when I could have an appointment. The triage lady also tried to send me away to chemist or anywhere else to avoid giving me an appointment. I went to a private GP in Orpington who saw me immediately and she called an ambulance and sent me to A&E for very high Heart rate( A Fib). The ambulance guys felt I had made it just in time! I believe this practice should be shut down.

Always happy with the care my family and I get. Also well located. Only negative is that it can take quite a while to get through on the phone.

It's awful. Nothing but casual incompetence time after time. They make mistakes that really cause you problems say they'll call to sort it out and then just never call. Staff are rude to you presume you're lying so that they don't have to do anything just to make it more difficult for the sick person requiring help.

Sadly, this surgery is appalling. Not in terms of medical staff but the systems used. Can never ever get through on the phone in under an hour’s wait. Have ended up having to go down in person and at times there is nobody on reception. You need to employ more staff to cope. How can it take over an hour to get through on the phone when you are No 1 in the queue?!!

I wanted to say a big thank you to the nurses and the reception lady at this doctors. Sadly people only write bad reviews but never say when they have a good experience.

The receptionist was helpful polite and couldn't do enough to help me book appointments for dressing changes. She was a credit to the surgery.

I have now seen two different nurses and again they are amazing. The card they have given really instills my confidence in the system and they again can not do enough. They were kind and gentle given the pain im in.

Thank you so much for all your help and support. In life you can not always please everyone or make miracle cures but your approaches and help goes along way.

I am shocked with this practice. Been waiting to speak to reception for an Emergency Appt from 8am-10.15am over 2 HOURS to which they cut me off! My 2 year old has a suspicious rash and it's impossible to access medical care. I'm very upset and will now have to bother A&E once again. I expect the business manger to contact me asap as this is unacceptable. I wonder what the CQC would think? You're stopping patients accessing care. Such a shame as the Drs are fantastic.
