I used to come here onec every 2-3 months for 3 years and never had an issue. I loved the massage lady that had me every time as she made my back feel brand new. Unfortunately, I moved an hour away, so I didn't visit as much.

After today, I won't come again. Paying £40 ( 30-minute massage plus cupping) so the older lady ( havent seen her before) can be on her phone most of the time chatting to her friends, slick my back twice on each side, and leave the room several times while i was half naked on a bed made me uncomfortable, not mentioning that she didnt leave the room so i can undress or dress back, plus she made my back bleed, which I've never had from cupping before.

I'm really sad and disappointed about this experience as I was looking forward to this the whole day.

Quite shocked at their rude manner on the telephone. I called to book me and my mum in for a massage on a Monday at around 6pm. Was told they do not have availability and said it’s better to come early morning, which is fine. I said I would need to check with my mum and would call back, as soon as I said this, the lady hung up on me. Looking at reviews, others have had the same experience. What a shame, due to the disrespectful telephone manner we will not be using their services now or ever.

Called last minute for a Chinese Massage. Amazing deep tissue massage and targeted my problem areas. Masseuse was lovely and I can tell she was very busy & on the phone taking appointments during the massage. I would still come again

I contacted to request an appointment and find out availability but I was told "sorry fully booked" which I totally understand that there wasn't availability for the dates and times I requested but when I asked them as a follow up what their next availability was, I was met with a blunt two word response of "sorry busy". Poor levels of communication and customer service. I wont be attempting to use their services again.

I took a chance this morning and tried to book a last minute massage and I’m SO glad that I did. The lady was friendly, she made me feel comfortable and I received a wonderful massage! Unfortunately I could only be squeezed in for an hour, next visit I will book for an hour and a half. A wonderful experience and I would highly recommend The Chinese Wellness Centre.

Such a fantastic massage- I always went out of town but after reviewing great reviews I gave this a try. Wow.. Mary really worked on my tensed shoulders and back.. really friendly and lovely lady too. I enjoyed the deep tissue massage.. I usually have to ask to go deeper but Mary knew what she was doing and all the right pressure points it felts so good. I will be now going back again soon. Worth it. The only issue I would say is she wouldn't stop talking- when I'm trying to relax.. I even took my hearing aid off to give a subtle hint and she wants to still have full on conversation. That's the only thing I would change as it's important to switch off..when eyes are closed to respect that.. and stop asking questions. My honest feedback
