Had to have my dreaded annual blood test today, it was done by Nurse Patel. What a dream nurse, knew that I didn't like needles, examined both arms to pick the best location, decided on the left. Strait in no problem took the blood with ease ,the best part, you cant even see the needle mark and absolutely no bruising. Absolutely superb, thank you.

We all know how hard it is to get men to go to the doctors right! Well after finally convincing my brother to go for something quite serious and after he’d been examined he was told to wait for a call from the hospital from a particular department…. After weeks of nothing he has gone up to the hospital himself after 12 hours of working, paid for parking and gone through various departments not knowing what he’s doing just to find out that all chiddingfold have done is send the ultrasound info. Over and nothing else. Beyond livid. Mistakes happen but there should be checks and balances when dealing with people’s lives especially when the patients call you, as a doctor’s surgery to see if there’s any updates and say they are still in a lot of pain while “waiting for a phone call”

I emailed after 4/pm ,received a phone call, which reassured me and I was able to pick up the prescription from my nearest health clinic /I cannot say how reassuring this was.I have so much respect for our Health service, they make me feel cared for and I trust them.Which is very comforting when I have lost faith in much of our infrastructure.

I can’t get an appointment online as it’s not serviceable apparently and I can’t get an an answer by phone I keep getting dr watts recording every time I press for reception. The time is 4.30 pm.
