Cannot praise this service highly enough. All the staff are friendly, waiting area is modern and clean. Had my eyes lasered today and it is breathtaking to have my eyesight restored. I unfortunately did not get the name of the young lady who did them but everything was explained fully and only took a few minutes. Thank you for your expertise in this field. It is life changing work, I can be driving and reading again.

Very disappointing second visit. The optician had no idea why I was there. He repeated a test that had already been done and not the required test which I was there for. Worst of all, he did not clean up after the previous patient. That's basic hygiene practice. I won't be going back.

06/09/24: My wife was referred here by the optician for cartarac examination. However, the technician wasnt able to do the measurements because the cartarac was too thick. Very disappointed.

We were advised, she will note it all up and will be sent an appt where they have the necessary equipment.

27/09/24: Today, we came to Padiham Group Practice, only to find they don't have equipment either. Now, this technician is going to note it up too. Absolutely pathetic!

I have managed to get another appt (3rd within 3 weeks) at Olivers Place, Fulwood for 2nd Oct. At the advice of Padiham technician rang up the booking service to confirm and have been assured they they have the equipment.
Im not too hopeful.

This place is absolutely incompetent, after almost twelve months of treatment, I am still getting letters sometimes two in the same post, saying that I have just been referred and will I book appointment, they then sent a letter to my G.P. saying because they couldn't contact me I was being discharged, the day after my last appointment I had a message asking me to book the appointment or I would be discharged,
can somebody get a grip, I am not filled with confidence.

The eye consultant was quite apathetic in his responses and made me feel pointless with my diagnosis. Thankfully i won't have anymore appointments with that consultant. Enough said.
