Attended the day surgery unit and received gold standard care from the entire team. Highly professional and competent surgeon and anaesthetist explained the procedure with great clarity and put me totally at ease. Extremely caring nursing staff at book in and recovery too, with lots of smiles and good sense of humour. Truly excellent care and I am very grateful to all the staff who worked so hard to provide it.

I have my retinas injected every few weeks and I chose chase farm ophthalmology department because it’s local . But I must say the care and treatment I have received from these doctors and nurses is beyond exceptional. Their kindness and patience with me is truly remarkable, as I have a serious needle phobia. Attended day surgery admissions unit for a minor procedure. The wait for surgery for me was relatively short, other patients who had been there earlier, complained of the long wait they were experiencing. There was a television and several magazines available, on the unit that occupied my time. The nursing staff were polite and informative. The unit and hospital on a whole was spotlessly clean and the furnishings are in immaculate condition. On the ground floor, there is indoor and outdoor seating areas, where you can have hot and cold beverages, and hot food and snacks. Overall as a patient, I had a very good experience here, no complaints. A big thank you to all staff for the wonderful care and attention I received.

In December I went into Chase Farm hospital for a test result. I was distraught having just received the news that my mother had passed away. The reception staff on the ground floor were exceptional, one woman came out and took me to a quiet room and was so very kind, I saw the consultant without having to wait in any area and she saw me out when I finished. I was so touched by the human kindness and professionalism of your reception staff. Thank you so very much. O

Recently discharged after 5 days at Chase Farm Hospital following my revision total knee replacement. The care, the procedure and facilities can not be faulted. Everything was spotlessly clean and well maintained and having indivdual rooms made it feel like private care. A special mention to the nurses and physio team on the 3rd floor surgical ward, room 46. These people work so hard and give the most professional and caring care to patients. This is NHS at its very best.

Had a turn up and wait appointment for an x-Ray today, from arrival to departure having had the scan completed was 12 minutes!! Interacted with four members of staff all of which were helpful and good natured. This is the third time I have attended this hospital over the past few years and without exception this is the typical service/care provided. Excellent
