Went for a nurse appointment today and on Thursday. I haven’t used the surgery for much over the last few years but the 2 ladies that looked after me this week were just lovely. So friendly. So reassuring.

Impossible to see a GP, impossible to make an appointment. This Evergreen not working, calling and after waiting 1 hour to get the answer that we are full for today. Advised to call 111, and they advise me to go back to GP, the worse experience by now. I will have to look for another practice.

My appointment was at 15:15 and I checked in at Gillies health centre for my B12 injection. Charlitte must have sen this and called me to inform me that I should be at St Andrews. She advised me that she would still be able to treat me if I could get round to the other surgery. I could and was given the B12 by Charlotte for which i am extremely grateful.

Nurse Tracy was exceptionally gentle and reassuring when removing my clips and sutures. I honestly found the experience quite relaxing, which I didn't at all expect! Thank you so much Tracy. Superb care.

So far a terrible experience with this GP. Recently moved to the area and registered here but since registering trying to call or get an appointment has been a myth.
When trying to call the routine appointments line, I get told I'm in a queue over 30, requested for call back and never received one at all. Called back and got the same message again, instead tried going through to the emergency appointments line and despite being only a queue of 5 people, been on the phone for 50 mins so far and still no answer.
My previous GP, I was able to book appointments through the NHS app, no reason why this GP can't offer the same services!

If you're looking for a new GP, don't register here unless you're happy with no appointments!

Five stars are for the nurses who noticed I booked in an hour early for my appointment in error and did not make me wait, fantastic staff, the receptionist however, one star for not saying a word to tell me I was over an hour early and would have left me sitting there….why would you do that. Thank you Nurses, you are just what the NHS needs.

Nurse Tracy is amazing I had a really bad experience due to reception staff not doing there job correctly I have stage 4 cancer and because receptions incompetence and lack of training I nearly missed having a very Important injection and unfortunately for nurse Tracy she was the one that has to deal with reception screw up and not only did she resolve it professional she went above and beyond to correct the situation I can not thank her enough for taking the stress out of a really stressful situation. Tracy is an absolute asset to the surgrey. With out her I don’t no what I would have done. Bless her she had to no only do her job but mange a situation which could have been avoided. Thank you again you truly are amazing Tracy.
