My wife and I visited Ambers restaurant on Sat 1st March for dinner. The restaurant is beautifully decorated. We both ordered from the main menu, I had Duck Breast which was superbly cooked and just as I wanted it. My wife had Sea Bream again well cooked and presented. The plates looked excellent. The fish was served along with mussels in a sauce, which was different from most other places we have been recently, where it is often served with sauté or crushed potatoes. An interesting choice. The waitresses were attentive and did a good job, can’t pick one out specially as I think all of them served us at some time. I would however, like to complement Misha and Martin the chefs in the kitchen who made us a wonderful meal.

We stayed for one night for our wedding anniversary. It was very last minute but so glad we did it. We travelled by train from Bolton without any hitches. The hotel was an easy 10 minute walk and we were met with a friendly welcome and a glass of prosecco. The restaurant was fabulous with a singer on as we arrived. The food and service was first class. Our room was spacious and the bedding was fresh and smelt divine. We would certaibly recommend this hotel.

We were delighted to enjoy a 4 day stay at this Lovely Hotel in an ideal location over New Year. All of the rooms are spotless, food is excellent and staff are all amazing. We booked the New Year 4 course Gala Dinner for New Years Eve. With a Live Band the atmosphere was electric. My husband is Coeliac and requires gluten free food options, his dietary requirements were met and he was very happy and felt safe. The manager, Stacey did everything in her power to ensure we had an amazing experience 👏 Other nights and breakfast, we ate in their Amber's Restaurant and again Gluten Free options were offered and I recommend their Cauliflower soup delicious.|The Hotel is within walking distance of the Town but for people with disabilities, there is a bus every 10 mins where you can visit Betty's Tea Rooms for a treat. Or you could visit the gem of a place called Knaresborough. The Hotel has a very homely feel and we were made very Welcome at this Hotel. Thankyou everyone at The Cedar court hotel in Harrogate.

The location is good and a 10 minute walk to the center of town. The staff was friendly and welcoming. Our room had a pretty view of The Stray and the common areas are very nice with comfortable sitting areas, full bar and a pretty dining room. We have stayed in other hotels in Harrogate and the Cedar Court has a more welcoming common area than others. Full breakfast was included in our room charge with a good assortment of hot and cold foods. |The room was clean and adequate but the pillows could definitely use an upgrade and there were no bathroom amenities other than liquid soap on the wall. We are fully mobile but found the bathtub so deep that it was a challenge to get in or out to shower. Grab bars and a detachable shower head would be good upgrades for increased safety. |Overall we enjoyed our stay and would return.

Just spent a 3 day weekend country and western event at Cedar Hotel Harrogate. Room was excellent. Whilst breakfast was more than adequate, I have yet to find a hotel that can fry an egg to my liking. Meals were excellent and staff were more than helpful. Very pleasant and only too willing to help especially reception LAUREN and table service GRACE.

Stunning ground floor. Tastefully decorated. The dining room is one of the most beautiful dining rooms I have been to. Staff were friendly. Always ensured they said hello...||Just a 10 minute walk to town||The negatives I'm afraid. We thought the breakfast was quite poor. Our bedroom had loads of black marks on the walls and definitely needed a re paint... The heating was a electric heater with no settings. We had to have the heating on due to it being very cold outside|. This resulted in the room being too warm to sleep in, even with the window open. The plumbing was definitely faulty. We wouldn't get cold water for some of the time.

Again another great New Year's Eve Gala. We have come to Cedar Court for the last 3 years now and always have a great time.|We stayed for 2 nights arriving on 30th which included a 3 course meal in the Amber's restaurant. Since last year this has been redecorated and it was lovely with new furniture and layout, very nice.||New Years Eve was again great, with a magician, live band and disco to see in the new year. Having been a few years previous the band this time round were good but not as good as previous, but that didn't detract from the evening, it's just that previous bands were a lot better. ||For what you get for the 2 nights we think this is well worth the money, a great way to spend new year in a great Yorkshire town. The entrance to the hotel was decorated which was nice to arrive to. The rooms are a bit dated but we were hardly in the room to be honest, but the bed was comfy that's the main thing :-)||Just want to say how great all the staff are for such a busy time, from check in, all waiting/bar staff, and check out. Always attentive, friendly and have a laugh with you. They work so hard so I just hope they get some time off in the new year.|Thank you and hope to see you to let in 2026!!!
