I cannot speak highly enough of the care I and my family receive from everyone at this surgery. Over the years we have moved around a lot and hence registered at many surgeries around the country and indeed the world. This surgery and its staff are amongst the very best I have experienced. I can 100% trust that I am in safe hands and sadly that has not always been the case at other surgeries. The reception staff are all friendly and approachable. They seem to be a close knit team and this shows in the seamless continuity of care. I am grateful to have found this surgery and would wholeheartedly recommend it.

Absolutely shocking!!! - if I could put a 0 star for the practice manager Cameron Crowther I would.. the doctors have all been amazing but unfortunately they get a 1 star based on this individual. Cameron is nothing but rude, unhelpful and takes it upon himself when not a doctor to manage treatment of a patient which can severely affect that individual and putting them at a high risk of harm. If you care about a immunocompromised loved one, do not allow them to be looked after here based on the management and actually getting what the patient needs prior to even seeing a doctor. Again the doctors themselves are very good but you have this to get through when you have more health conditions than most!

Mystified Drop in is till 10.30 - I arrived in reception at 10.17 as no parking spaces within the grounds so had to find somewhere to park.. Got registered, sat down then to be told by a receptionist they were unable to see me today as no spaces left to see a doctor. Appreciate it was busy but I thought that was the nature of the drop in and why be told by a monkey and not the organ grinder.

Attended drop in surgery today at catterick village. Yes, there was a wait and things running late but the staff team were polite, pleasant and helpful. Very grateful for care received. We are fortunate to have a local surgery and pharmacy to care for us. Thank you.

Virtually impossible to get an appointment. When you do finally get one it’s cancelled an hour before it’s scheduled, unless you want reschedule for Colburn. Alternatively you can sit around on a drop in day for three hours in the vain hope they might consider seeing you.
Absolute shambles of a place!

I registered as a new patient and my form was processed immediately. Having just been discharged from hospital I was concerned about my medication. The pharmacist called to say he would process the prescription and I received a call from Reception to say this had been passed to the Pharmacy and would be ready for collection. Everyone, without exception, was helpful, caring and courteous - 5 star all the way. Thank you.

I find it hard when I see low marks for this surgery 3 years ago when I needed them after a horrendous fall they were there for me
After a wait of far to long first opp done
(Hip) with complications,
Out of hospital with very little meds
I got to the surgery and they completed things there and then back home meds in hand
Therefore all I can say is well done and thank you all again
Many kind regards
William Hill
P.s many thanks also to catterick pharmacy who turned it round there and then

Update:

After leaving this review I received a passive aggressive letter through the post, saying they had recorded all my calls with Cameron which had been reviewed. I absolutely will not be going down to hear them for myself but will be requesting those recordings.

However, I fail to see how this could account for personal interactions and I’m presuming calls he’s made to me to advise me they won’t be completing my tests to start medication as had they been reviewed I’m pretty sure someone would be pretty disgusted.

This surgery is absolutely abysmal
they also said they would happily help me find another surgery #idespair as if I wasn’t already going to do that and there was lots of choice in the area.

If you can drive. Don’t go here. I’m not sure how to peruse this further but if I can
 I absolutely will.

..

Doesn’t deserve one.

Cameron the practice manager is possibly the rudest most difficult person I’ve ever had to deal with in a Drs surgery. Which is no easy feat and I used to work for the NHS so I’ve dealt with a few!!! The man seemingly hates human beings so has weirdly picked a job where he’s supposed to care and look after them :/

They referred me privately for an assessment, and then when asked by that medical team Cameron, who is not a doctor, but the husband of Dr Crowther
. refused to give me the tests I needed to actually be treated for the issue. I’m flabbergasted.

I have AuDHD and find physical appointments very difficult, however they refuse to deal with even the simplest complaint by web consultation and insist I wait the 2+ hour wait for the walk in surgery which I can’t arrive early enough for because I have to take my kids to school.

If you’re thinking of signing up here
. Don’t. Run. Run far away and don’t look back. You’ll get more care and sympathy from your next door neighbours cat.
