Caremark is a great company for domiciliary care. They always give the best service to the clients and care for their staff. I was so happy to work with this company as they understand staff concerns, finding solutions and supporting staff at all times. They give enough break times and off days. I am so grateful to the management as they have considered and gave me sick leave when i had heath issues. I am going to miss my colleagues who was always friendly and helpful. I wish all the very best for the entire team, You are doing great job! Thank you so much for everything. I would like to say Caremark Barnsley is the best company if you look for a home care or if you wish to work in a homecare company. I will give 5 star.. No doubt.

I absolutely love this place !! My mum had worked here for around 6years and has never been happier. It treats workers and there family’s with respect and it feels like one huge family. All clients are treat with respect and no matter how carers are treated they always reply really respectfully and kind. As someone who lives with someone who works there it’s a absolute joy to see how happy my mum is when she works and how the staff treat my mum with so much respect. All the office staff and really kind and helpful
To staff and are always ready to put in extra hours to help out to ensure all clients have care and can be happy. I would throughly recommend Caremark as a place to work or get care for your family. Best place for carers they are so lovely and kind and are so good to the clients.

Gave 1 star as I had to give something but I didn’t even want to give that. Absolutely shocking service, so many complaints regarding my grandparents care. My grandparents both have Alzheimer’s and dementia and do have one regular carer who is incredible with them who I couldn’t ask to do more, she is amazing!; however the company staff turn over is horrendous and they get new carers every other week!
Also the amount of negligence my grandparents have experienced is beyond a joke. One example is my family took them out for a birthday treat and got them home for 18:15 for which was the time their bed call was booked for 30 minutes. But the carers came 2 minutes early and left and when we phoned to speak to the office at 19:15 we were told that carers had been and left due to my grandparents not being home and could come half an hour earlier. When we disputed this and said so carers could come to put them to bed at 17:45 but couldn’t wait for the half hour of the call time to see if they got back we were told no and it’s okay cause we’d put them in their pj’s we could leave them (my grandmother is immobile independently). So it was left to me and my mother to put her to bed and give her medication. That’s just one of the many examples (possibly hundreds) we as a family have experienced, so I dread to think how other service users are treated, especially those without family to pick up their slack. My mum and aunt are contacted by the carers all the time when the carers are meant to be their to relieve their stresses and responsibilities not add to them!

This place is absolutely amazing! Knowing people that work there and also having people in the family who have been cared for by them, i can certainly say that it is a great place to work or receive services from as the carers always have a smile on their face and are happy to help as much as they are needed.
The carers are very polite and are always putting the extra hours in to ensure the best service is provided. I would definitely recommend Caremark’s services to anyone as they are brilliant with clients.

My dad was bedbound after a stroke. I was always phoning head office to complain for example after finding out they overdosed him due to the carer not reading the carer before notes, put the adult nappies on incorrectly and hanging off him these are just a few examples.
