Care unique wasn’t an agency that I originally chose for my mothers care as there was a reshuffle through the council and we ended up being with care unique. So far the carers have been very good and have listened to my instructions of what I require of them on daily basis for my mothers care who has dementia. There’s 2 particular carers Sukhpreet and Sabana who have showed great empathy and care towards my mother during shower calls which has made it easier on her as she can get quite frustrated during shower time. I hope this kind of support from all carers continues.

Care unique provided a service for my father. The staff were extremely polite, punctual and most of all, very caring. They never rushed. They always made sure dad was comfortable and they also had a loving and respectful sense of humour too. Dad used to say they were like his daughters.

There are no words in which I can describe how the girls looked after dad. Words can not do them justice. All I can say is they treated him like their own father. We could not ask for any more, as we had a very shocking experience with a previous care company.

Davi and Nina (management) are both gems. They are in it for the right reasons and they genuinely care. They go out of their way for their patients.

I can not recommend care unique enough if you require care for your loved ones.

They will definitely be more than looked after with this fabulous team of staff.

What a nightmare. We didn't choose Care Unique. The council moved my late mother to them in a local reshuffle. Things went from bad to worse and feedback and complaining just fell on deaf ears. Management need serious training but they think they know it all. New management is probably the only answer. Staff were clearly very unhappy but what can they do? Feel sorry for anyone who experiences Care Unique. The only reason they have high ratings is because the reviews are fake and done by family members and staff. Genuine reviews are dismissed as 'we don't know who you are' etc. We moved to Woodhall Care Services. They were very good indeed and I would highly recommend them. Supportive management with regular reviews and very caring and understanding staff who were friendly and reliable and willing to go the extra mile.

The care given to my mum by this company is over & beyond anything we could have imagined.
The carers are always so polite, helpful & attend to all of mums needs with every visit.
My mum thinks of them as family & looks forward to her visits.
Apologies for the carers I don’t know the names of but Shabana & Lata & all the fantastic carers - my thanks go to you for the wonderful care you give to my mum. I couldn’t thank you more, keep up the fantastic service, you are a credit to Care Unique ?

Care Unique provides service for both my brother and sister. I’m happy that my siblings care needs are being met. the staff are very flexible with time and don’t rush, they always have a laugh with family members. having the same routine is important for my siblings and there has been no issue so far, the management are very nice and friendly, if there is an issue it is always solved. i would definitely recommend this company to family and others. Awful Avoid Avoid... I did not choose this care provider the council did. I moved as soon as I could no care no communication... neighbours said the carers were in and out and claiming for the time. Unable to meet basic needs. My 0aeents false teeth were lost and I was advised to look in the fridge... months later and I have been unable to replace them if they had communicated with me sooner.... Avoid Avoid contact the manager and all you get is a rude abrupt and unhelpful response... thank goodness I moved to different provider no stress now!!

A cannot praise Care Unique and the team behind them highly enough, they have cared for my father for several years now without issue. The carers are wonderful and the management take an active role in making sure that the client is looked after really well.

I moved over to Care Unique having tried two other care providers locally who proved to be unsatisfactory. Thankfully Care Unique were able to takeover the care package swiftly and reassuringly. Communication is clear and timely and standards of care of the highest standard.

I don’t normally do social media but feel strongly that I need to make people aware of the lack or care and compassion that this company displayed to my 93 year old mother. Mum was only with this company for a few weeks before they gave notice to the council. Mum has capacity but her problems are physical in that she had a stroke 13 years ago which left her paralysed totally on her right side. A few of the staff were ok. BUT management is unprofessional , not caring and unresponsive. The other negative comments within these reviews are correct, this company is only interested in cashing in and they are not interested in the individuals they are supposed to be caring for. Mum kept a log of carers attendance times , only spending a few minutes when they were getting paid for 30 mins, frequently they did not carry out tasks required, rushed mum, told her to hurry up, treated her roughly one carer whipping off her top and vest while at the same time the other carer pulled off her pants making mum fall back on her bed then they accused her of doing this on purpose. Mums friend reported that she had witnessed how certain staff had spoken to mum and herself rudely. There were incidents daily and as mum has capacity and she can speak up for herself - they didn’t like being challenged about what they were doing .I raised concerns with management and there was no attempt to try and resolve anything, the company did not seem to have proper procedures and processes in place for auditing staff. I couldn’t even find their complaints policy. Nina was not interested in listening and became defensive and told mum as I had complained I should look after her and she should find somebody who speaks her own language and English to look after her. On occasions mum was left without drinks in the morning and on several occasions staff did not turn up when they were supposed to.no attempt was made at trying to resolve anything. Staff ended up being vindictive towards mum as we had complained to the council and the Care Quality Commission. The council have found us a much better company and mum is much happier being treated with the dignity and respect that she deserves.
