Went to urgent care after falling and hurting my wrists. What an excellent service! Was assessed by Kelvin within about 10 minutes, sent for an X-ray, diagnosed and treated all within the hour. Both Kelvin and Katy in X-ray were pleasant, caring and professional. Phoned the helpline later in the day with one question I had and the nurse couldn’t have been more helpful. Superb! Well done Wansbeck!

Excellent service received today at walk-in centre at Wansbeck hospital for my mum, from both the reception staff & the Nurse Practitioner. Seen very quickly & appropriate treatment provided. The male Nurse Practitioner is a credit to his profession. Thank you.

On holiday in the area and visited here for insect bites that were swollen and painful. My experience with this clinic was far from painful - in and out within 30 minutes and the three ladies I saw were brilliant. Greeted with a lovely smile by the lady on reception, then an equally pleasant ‘check in’ nurse who made my appointment with an also equally pleasant doctor. Great experience all round!

Used this walk in centre for the first time yesterday. The care my son received from the lovely nurse practitioner was fabulous. Even though the waiting room was very busy and it was coming to the end of her long shift, she greeted us with a huge smile and was so kind, caring, reassuring and empathetic. She is a credit to the team and to her profession. Thank you!

Sat almost 2hrs to be told no need for X-ray phone up and make appointment for physio therapy. That doesn’t explain the pain I’ve been in for months, honestly felt like she didn’t want to listen, lost all faith in health care, I won’t be bothering them no more

Excellent care received today for my infant daughter, who was refused an emergency visit by her GP at Velens Medical Group. Luckily this is a great service. There was a wait to see a GP but this is to be expected.
