It is no wonder the NHS is in the mess it is, I have been in pain for a week and as it is not going I thought I would call the doctors today, however the receptionist who answered the phone told me as the pain did not start within the last 12 hours I will have to wait weeks to see my doctor, and she actually told me it is most likely a bug (must be a doctor on the side). After a lot of discussion at the chemists , a referal from the practice manager to a doctor I finally managed to see one. Receptionists should not be giving medical advice, which she denied at first then admitted yes she had said it

This is a great little surgery. It has an on-site pharmacy, which is very useful.
Very pleasant reception and pharmacy staff and the practice nurses are fantastic. A little difficult to get face to face appointments at present, which is understandable. The doctor that I saw was excellent, explaining everything very thoroughly.

I’m lost for words at the extent the surgery is robbing the farming community. Today I went to take in my paperwork for my shotgun certificate to be signed by the GP and was told I had to pay £75 for someone to write no more then 20 words and tick 9 boxes. This is over double the cost that other surgery’s are charging and I believe is not between the advised prices set by the BMA. It’s daylight robbery and extortionate and frankly not acceptable.

At the moment you can see a nurse for bloods but not a doctor, best case is a telephone call. At other times you will not see the same doctor twice and it’s usually a locum.

Totally disgusting service received today. Receptionist told me that the earliest appointment I could get to speak to a doctor was January. Today is the 1st December. Not fit for purpose.
