I get physical shivers when I think about going back here. I have been under them since I was 11. I have had therapists drop me for no reason, without any warnings. Been told to go for a walk, or have a cup of tea in my darkest moments, and to "just not think about it". Left me to struggle to get my own autism diagnosis for 5 whole years, and it still never happened. I age out of this system next month, and thank god. I still don't have my diagnosis. Do not trust these services, they are vastly underfunded, and ran by people who couldn't care less if you leave dead or alive.

Attended with my autistic son. Was told there was nothing wrong with him by a nurse. Consultant paediatrician said otherwise and also said he had traits of adhd.

Went to see another mental health practitioner and within weeks had my son on medication. His ADHD and Autism is now more controlled.
