Very bad practice!!! Why we have to came on the right time for the appointments and sit there and wait for almost an hour to be call in? It's very frustrating and stupid especially if you have childrens or babys... Just give the right time and call us in between 5 to 10 minutes. But the personal is very nice and helpful. I never normally write a review because I'm absolutely not the type of person to complain but I feel like on this occasion, I needed to. I took my daughter to the doctors on Monday 20th may for oral thrush, we were given a same day appointment which was fantastic (as they usually are) We saw the doctor who prescribed her some medicine for it. I went to the pharmacy in the doctors to be told that they didn't have it, so I tried the one in town who told me they were out of stock. I then went into a pharmacy in saltash who told me that she had been prescribed a medication that is discontinued and wouldn't be circulating for at least a year. I rang the doctors to see what they could do to fix this and they told me that a pharmacist would call me in the next hour to discuss alternatives, I asked the lady to request that it was sent to a saltash pharmacy as we were staying there on that night, the lady said that was fine. About half an hour later I had a message saying they had put out a new medicine with instructions on how to use but was not told where to collect. I went into a saltash pharmacy to ask if they had it, I was told that they did but the doctor hadn't signed it so they couldn't give it to me. I rang them again to ask what pharmacy the script had been sent to and they told me callington. I questioned why it had not been sent to saltash and was told "we have to mix it up at the doctors so you can only collect from here". I asked if there was anything they could do or send to a saltash pharmacy due to my daughter needing it asap. I was put on hold and when the lady came back, she told me that they could send it to a saltash pharmacy after originally telling me they couldn't. So I went into the saltash pharmacy again where they were able to chase it up and get the script and give it to me. My daughters appointment was at 3.15 and we finally got her medicine at 5.55 after several phone calls.

I managed to get on the phone for an emergency at 8:29 this morning, and before I could finish my sentence to the receptionist, she told me to ring back in two minutes and then hung up on me, despite it being an emergency. I rang back the next minute and the line was busy, it's now been busy ever since and I can't even join a queue, just a dead line. This is absolutely awful.

If I could give this surgery no stars I would. A classic example of why GP surgeries put off middle aged men from addressing their health issues. Process over customer care at all cost. I’d rather be I’ll than struggle getting an appointment with this Kafka style bureaucracy that masquerades as patient care. Bizarrely they are still under COVID rules despite the rest of this nation going fully back to work to pay the tax that is poured into this atrocious service. Not allowing people to present themselves to secure a future appointment, you are dismissed to join a ridiculously long telephone queue at 8.30 am the next morning! Just deal with the patient in front of you. It’s providing an appointment, not open heart surgery.

Rude and unhelpful staff combine with poor patient services, opening times that are designed to be as inconvenient as possible and scant parking to make a particularly unpleasant experience.

The last time I attended, I managed to get the very first appointment of the week. You'd think that 8:30 on a Monday would be the one and only time that you can guarantee everything will run to schedule, but no, the doors opened a minute late and I was called at 8:40. Medical staff were still ariving after patients had been let in to the building.

There is no excuse for such a shambolic operation.

Wife told she would get a call about her x-rays between a certain time in the morning, changed all her plans, call never came, called surgery, receptionist would not let her get a word in at first stating the Dr was very busy. we understand that, maybe someone could have called and told us?

Yet again another screw up with repeat prescription. Without telling the patient - two items now have to be collected from the Health Center. They can't even blame the Chemist now. It's amazing how the Dispensing side is such a shower of s*** and really lets down the rest of the pratice.

Will not take payment for an appointment over the phone, (in this day and age?) took time off work to drive out to pay for the appointment only to be told that they no longer covered my area (4 miles away) and that I should go to Saltash (8 miles away).

Makes no sense to travel twice as far and could have checked before I made the trip.

My cat gets better service from the vets
