If I could leave zero stars I would, they were due to come out today to replace batteries on my mum’s electric chair. When she phoned them up to see if the Engineer was coming today, they denied all knowledge, that the Appointment was for today on the 27th of May . but on the 28h of May. When my mum has an appointment on the 27th All the appointments are written down on a whiteboard has soon as they are confirmed. Over the phone Why do you think because people are in wheelchairs, that they are confined to the house all the time.

Only put one star so I can leave a review with the hopes someone may get in contact with me! My son has been treated appallingly has a degenerative muscle wasting condition which is life limiting. He has been trying to get a new cushion for his bum for over a year after countless phone calls and been told someone would call me back asked the manager to call me back called everyday nobody called me back until my sons physio got in touch. Finally got an appointment after months of trying, at appointment it was decided he needed a new chair and urgently was told they had the funding and it would be ordered straight away. Now 2 months later called for an update and was told it hadn’t been ordered and they had run out of funds. I realise that things are difficult but then things should be promised. Still waiting for a response whilst reading this email while my son is uncomfortable! ☹️

I was referred from my GP who is a medical professional for a electric wheelchair but the mistake on my part was I had not changed my GP as where I live it was out of their area and I have been with them over 20 years. I had been registered with my GP on my parents address. When I was referred for the wheelchair I told Ross care this they told me they can’t come out to do assessment because it’s not where I live and I need to have the address where I live to be registered with GP so I told GP this they told me I have to register with GP in my area with a painful regret I did this I moved to another GP. Told Ross care they sent me more forms to fill out. Then without any explanation or contact via phone or mail told me I am not Eligible for wheelchair even though my doctor referred me to them. And Ross care said they will need to come out and check my property which they never did. I had to do all the ringing up and chasing about. Then in the end with no contact or phone call or letter through the post they decided I am not eligible for electric wheelchair with no assessment or coming out to check the lady on the phone was not very nice I jumped through all the hoops and in the end she said I need someone from physiotherapy so support me. It felt like the way she talked to me as I was not worthy to talk or ask questions they way she communicated felt very racist that people like me don’t deserve the help I need. I hope to god she gets a taste of her medicine I trust god to punish her for all the pain and suffering she has caused me. These people won’t help you if you don’t fit whatever their personal profile is. And if your of the ethnic minority you may as well keep suffering as these people will make a mockery of you for their entertainment because people of colour are not eligible for electric wheelchair doesn’t matter if you have been using walking aids for years and have medical conditions with your feet and legs because of your colour you will not be eligible and they will still make you jump hoops and then after all the things they say you need to do to appease them you still will not be eligible I hope they all rot!!
