For the past 2 days I have been seen by two medical students who have really helped me so much, Ellie and Maddie have been so kind to me and so very thoughtful and caring to me, I'm sure they will both make wonderful GPs when the finish training, great work ladies and thanks also to dear James on reception always so kind to help me with all my issues. Thank you to Dr Spencer for his kindness and also Katie in the Admin team who always helps out, thanks again I truly appreciate your support ?

Called at 8am today to book an appointment, then used the call back option, got a call back within 20 minutes and was given an appointment with a nurse practitioner at 10.40 same day. Great service and friendly staff.

Appalling customer service skills from the miserable receptionist with a horrendous attitude. She insisted I do not need an appointment and to ‘just go to the chemist’. I assured her I needed an appointment which she finally reluctantly gave me. In my appointment I was prescribed with medication that I cannot get over the counter and have also been sent for blood tests for further investigation.

I am absolutely appalled by the service at this doctor’s surgery. Trying to book an appointment is nothing short of a nightmare. No matter when I call, I'm either put on hold indefinitely or told there are no available appointments and to phone tomorrowat 8. It's beyond frustrating. To make matters worse, the reception staff are incredibly rude and dismissive. They lack any semblance of care or compassion, treating patients as if they are nothing more than an inconvenience. It's shocking that a healthcare facility can operate like this. I would strongly advise anyone to steer clear of this place. The service is disgraceful!

Miserable looking bunch on reception, well most of them and to be fair they try, but let’s face it the place is crawling with managers? Who walk around looking down on everyone else both staff and patients. No wonder the place is going down hill and fast. I’ve been with burton doctors for 68 years, doctors Bell, Kingsley, Padgett and the good ole Dr Spencer senior…. As it matured the care has fallen, medics replaced by admin and the nhs managers!! I’ve had my head stitched as a kid in the church street surgery sitting with blood on my face in the queue, now your just fobbed off to Corby. It’s such a shame. The practice needs a good kick up its rear. Get rid of the strutting overpaid so called managers and start looking after us as your previous doctors did. You know real caring doctors of the past. I can even remember house calls, can’t do that now, after all they only work part time? You should be able to walk in and see someone, not “sorry only 3 appointments today. Try tomorrow if you’re not dead!”

Can never get an appointment especially with the Rottweiler receptionists! They all have attitude problems. The gentleman on reception is however lovely! the rest of them could learn a lesson from him on how to talk to patients.

I called today at 8.am & was told im 30th in a call wait.as im a subcontractor i cant just sit around waiting so i opted for a call back which i got.
I had 2 issues. 1 was my much needed on going prescription which was available again at finedon pharmacy.
2 was pains in my jaw,ear & headaches.
As i had throat cancer in 2006 im always concerned with any symptoms.
I explained i was working away but would be back home on Thursday. I assumed given them time to sort a appointment would be best.
I was told phone in Thursday as there are no appointments........
Funny but back in 2006 when i had the first signs there was a problem with my throat it was due to the then GPS surgery i was with at the time that i was told over the period of 8months all manner of reasons my voice was changing....i now breath from my neck ,have no throat & talk via a valve......
Clearly i should have siad i have a cough or a sore finger....

If I could leave a review lower than 1 I would
Julie - you are a disgrace. Laughing at a patient is not acceptable. Trying to lie about why you laughed, made it worse
Sarah - Rude, cold and uncaring.
Being hung up on by reception.
A standard day's practice it seems by Burton Latimer Medical Centre.
Having my prescription changed with no notification - disgusting. Dictating my ability to breathe is abhorrent. I love just being a tick box and being told how my condition over over 30 years can be changed by some guidelines
