the wonderful care i received at Burrswood has restored my faith in health care services. It really is like no other facility I have been in and is exemplary. a true Centre of Excellence.
not only was the medical care excellent thoughtful and extremely efficient, but the communication between all staff -from medical to hospitality to reception and therapy was simply wonderful.

I spent 3months of rehabilitation as I suffer from a rare genetic disease and they gave me control back of my life. They design programmes specifically for your own needs and with daily physio, hydrotherapy, councilling, and much more, this is a place of healing. They also have guest rooms, a tea room and many rooms and grounds to just relax and enjoy. The staff give their all to each and every day. Thank you Burrswood.

Burrswood, situated in countryside north-west of Groombridge, is an independent non-surgical hospital which treats the whole person in a Christian environment. Specialities include palliative and respite care, post-surgical care, rehabilitation, counselling, hydrotherapy and physiotherapy. As a charity, Burrswood runs an "Access to Care" bursary fund where individuals may apply for assistance with fees. Burrswood also offers regular healing services, guest house, tea room, gift shop and Christian book shop. Burrswood was founded in 1948 when Dorothy Kerin established her healing ministry. In 2008 it celebrated its diamond jubilee and a commemorative service was held in Rochester Cathedral.

It's my second day out in darkest Groombridge though for the dead quiet still get the sound of thru traffic in my hearing living on the A2. Thats how silent it is to me.I shared the line to mother teresa from Burrswood the miraculous healing of the beatification acknowledgement by the catholic church and that of the testemonies to Dorothy Kerrin validating her healing ministry.

A place of calm and serenity. Beautiful well maintained grounds. A place to meditate and bath in creation. Excellent cafe serving breakfast, lunch, dinner, afternoon tea and sandwiches. All cooked using local produce where possible.
