Dentists and staff are amazing but this place is woefully understaffed/lacking on the administrative side. NOBODY ever picks up the phone - not when I have to cancel an appointment due to illness or when they cancel an appointment on me last minute with no explanation and instruct me to call them to reschedule. I've had to call them 20 times before and eventually show up at the clinic in person to actually speak with someone. Unacceptable.

Yesterday, I underwent a health assessment at Bupa Health Centre, and I feel it's necessary to share my experience.

Upon booking online through my Bupa account, I encountered an unforeseen delay due to an accident en route. Despite concerns about potential rescheduling or cancellation fees, I contacted them an hour prior to my appointment. To my relief, the staff displayed understanding and permitted my late arrival, provided it occurred within a 30-minute window.

Kate was really efficient and accommodating, facilitated a swift process upon my arrival. I was completely made at ease!

Special mention to Mitch, the G.O.A.T! the phlebotomist, who demonstrated exceptional care. Acknowledging my susceptibility to vasovagal syncope, he ensured a comfortable blood draw experience, mitigating any concerns of fainting. All the while, having a great sense of humour too!

Dr. Farzana exhibited professionalism and attentiveness, addressing my health queries and providing valuable insights on maintaining a healthy lifestyle, specifically focusing on diet and portioning.

I feel sorry for the people that had negative experiences but for me, it was a truly stress free experience and this has actually made me a bit less worried about health assessments in general.

I had been using Bupa through work and honestly it was just OK as a dental clinic. I quit that job and was between jobs and honestly, it was a complete rip off for the service included. They charged me wrong (something like GBP250 for checkup and hygienist), then kept calling me every day demanding £10 for their own payment mistake.

Won’t use again.

Monica herself was incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to thoroughly explain each step of the cleaning process. She also listened attentively to my concerns and provided personalized recommendations for maintaining my dental health.
