I went to see Adam with a minor issue which I was concerned might eventually develop into something more serious.

I had planter fasciitis and damaged tendons in my foot. I had been in severe pain and limping terrible because of this. I contacted stockwood osteopathic and sports injury clinic, made an appointment and saw joe ball.he made me feel very welcome and at ease, an assessment was done and i under went several weeks of laser treatment. I am very pleased with the results so far and i highly would recommend joe .

I came to see Adam after I had been diagnosed with bursitis and rotator cuff tears in both shoulders. At this point, I couldn't even brush my hair without pain. Adam advised a course of laser therapy. After 2 sessions I could already begin to feel the benefits. Since completing the course of treatment, I now have my full range of motion back, which prior to seeing Adam would have been unthinkable.
I would, and have, recommend Adam to others without reservation.

I went to see Adam with back pain that I had for months, he quickly identified what he thought was the problem but recommended a mri scan, upon results of the mri it showed a bulge in my disc at exactly where Adam said the issue was, this gave me great confidence in his knowledge and expertise, he recommended idd therapy which consisted of stretching my back back into place, I had a program of 20 sessions to which after the 6/7 session I started to feel the difference, now I have completed all of the treatment and I feel like a new man, I have no pain, move about better I could not recommend this treatment anymore, it’s amazing the results and if you are suffering with any back issues I definitely recommend getting in touch with Adam

I went to see Adam after finding details on his website for treatment of plantar fasciitis and feeling palmed off by the NHS.
He recommended a 6 week treatment plan and arch support in shoes. I didn't realise how much the pain was affecting my life until it was gone. Adam is clearly knowledgable and is also helping me with early indications of arthritis in my knee.
Any future concerns I would definitely turn to Adam for help.

I saw Adam for help easing up my stiff painful shoulders. He is very friendly and smiley and seems like a nice man, but I found the experience overall a bit disappointing. The clinic is tiny (not an issue in itself) but I would have liked to see some anatomy posters or qualification certificates on the wall, as might be expected. Adam left the room twice during my half hour treatment to attend other patients arriving or departing, one had been left under some kind of machine while Adam saw to me. It seemed like he had overbooked (or maybe he had just squeezed me in at short notice, I don't know). I also felt he didn't explain sufficiently what he was about to do, with one manipulation giving me a sudden jolt of unexpected pain radiating through my neck and tingling down both arms at one point, which was rather alarming! My treatment barely lasted 20 minutes (at least 10 mins was spent taking my patient history and seeing to the other clients) which made me feel I hadn't had value for money - it was £65, which isn't a small sum for me! Adam had explained at the beginning that the fee was pro-rata and included consultation time; however, I expected that the actual treatment would be 30 minutes on top of the consult time and that he would resolve my problem - but that wasn't the case. I was left feeling the same as when I went in, still in pain, with Adam telling me he didn't want to do too much in one session as it might be "too much for me" and to come back again in a few days. The next morning the pain was eased up a little, but was very much still bothering me all week. Overall I felt the treatment didn't help and have now found another osteopath. Sorry Adam, you are a nice guy but you need to give each client your full attention for the full half hour and resolve the presenting issue!

My treatment was just what was needed after the "failure" of a physio and Chiropractor. Clearly Adam is an experienced expert who is able to treat patients and give them clear guidance and comfort about the road to recovery.Money well spent.5 stars from me.

I am extremely grateful to Adam at Stockwood osteopathy clinic for getting me mobile again after recurring pelvic and sciatic pain had severely limited my mobility.
I contacted the clinic via the website on the Sunday evening and received a prompt response to set up the first assessment and treatment.
Within three treatments over the last two weeks I'm now fully mobile and pain free.
Adam's expert treatment methods and advice on post treatment self care, appropriate exercises and lifestyle adjustments have made such a difference.
I feel happy and well again!
