We bought a lovely Christmas Tree from here. They were a variety of trees and sizes and they were all set out so you could pick. The lady serving us was so helpful and happily opened up different trees for us to pick our favourite. She was very patient while our kids (and me!) took their time to decide and offered to take a family photo when we finally did pick. There was a christmassy photo board for posing and a snow scene that you could take photos in. We had a lovely experience and have a beautiful tree

Lovely place to visit on our bikes. Self service tea etc. Have some lovely plants in the garden centre area outside. And vegetables in the shop area...

The whole place seemed to be deserted at 3pm on a Monday in July. The small amount of plants on display appeared to need watering and some general TLC to make them presentable to the public. We left after around ten minutes. A wasted journey.

We often cycle here along the 'planet route' from York. Lovely staff who are very helpful. The shop is open now and it has a wide range of high quality and often organic products. They even sell craft items made by volunteers so please do check it out. The sales of these go back into the Nursery so it all helps keep it open for business 🙂 A wide selection of plants are available and more are on the way so I hear. We hope once restrictions are lifterd later in the year they can start serving coffee and cake again. It's a great place to admire the plants and relax with a coffee
