Haven't seen a doctor for a couple of years. Now I can't get my medication online from doctors. It's gone downhill fast. Thinking about trying a change. The staff are plesent. I struggle with the Internet. Soon the older people will be having to get to surgery and wait hoping to see a doctor. I just want to order my prescription from the doctors again. Not a 3rd party site.

Not my doctors, my wifes grandad forgot his diabetes medication when he was staying the night with us a couple of hours away, we tried to get an emergancy perscription so we could get him his insuline. Considering he hadnt had his medication, they took their time sending it over, since it was an emergancy situation, we expected better. Staff was rude and unhelpful.

I’ve been having abdominal pain for months that keeps getting worse so I call everyday to get an appointment when I finally get one which is only over phone they say it’s my period. For a start it’s definitely NOT my period I can tell the difference between cramps and this pain. If It was just my period something is clearly wrong if it’s hurting everyday for months. No empathy at all. I severely struggle with anxiety everyday it’s a genuine struggle for me just to prepare for a phone call and that’s how I get treated it’s sickening. Genuinely doing more damage than help.

We moved into the area a couple of years ago and were a little worried about registering with this practice due to poor Google reviews, but did it anyway as it is close to where we live. Wow. We are so glad we did. We have had nothing but good treatment when needing to see someone, whether a GP or nurse. No, we are not keen on the scrabble to get an appointment on the telephone but we have always stuck to the times and have been dealt with appropriately. People need to realise that it is not always necessary to see a GP as a suitably qualified nurse can deal with a lot and if unsure they will always check with the on-duty doctor. My husband has recently been found to have a long term condition and they have always been most helpful. The receptionists generally are very pleasant and helpful. Having done a similar job myself I know how hard this can be when people are rude or demanding. Last thing, there is an NHS 111 service I used for advice when the surgery was closed late one night and Dr Oo was on the phone to me at 8:30am the following morning to follow up with the necessary treatment. I consider that to be efficient.

Last week I rang at 8.00 and was number 13 in the queue. I was unsure if that would get me an appointment but waited in hope. When I eventually spoke to the receptionist she was very helpful, consulted with a colleague about my situation and offered a telephone call from a doctor. The callback came at 9.30 and a face-to-face appointment offered at 10.15. I don't like the current system but it does work for genuine need.

I started being a patient here since moving to Ecton Brook in 2017. And so far I didnt really encounter any rude receptionist. Except for one particular Doctor. I wasn't expecting a Doctor to have some sort of attitude. Call himself a doctor? Perhaps he should come down to earth a bit. Arrogant. And I wouldn't want to face him again. I hope that my next visit will be a different doctor.
Although there was a filipina nurse who is very very friendly that day and helpful and has a gentle hands when she took some blood samples off me . Her name is Raquel and I think she left now and moved up north. I was sad.
I have no photos to share. Perhaps on my next visit I will reinsert some photos.
