I’ve had mixed experiences with this GP practice, but I wanted to highlight the exceptional care I received from Nurse Ana Gomes. Unlike some rushed or dismissive appointments I’ve had in the past, she was incredibly kind, attentive, and made me feel truly heard. She took the time to engage with me, looked away from her screen while talking, and showed real empathy—something that makes a huge difference, especially when you’re struggling with your health. The appointment felt more like a private consultation rather than a standard NHS visit. Thank you, Ana, for your compassion and professionalism!

Very happy with this clinic, been a patient for years the new receptionists are much nicer and professional and Dr Sultana has helped me a lot in my appointment and was actively investigating my situation which was refreshing! Really recommend her!

Unfortunately, my daughter and I were met by Huma at reception, who immediately made us feel unwelcome with the way she treated us. There was no interest in helping with our enquiry. I clearly explained that appointment was made, and all it would have taken was checking the doctors’ schedules for that time. However, she dismissed us, stating there was no booking. It took additional stress, including contacting my own GP, to confirm that appointment was in place and we were able to see a doctor.

I strongly believe that important roles like these should be filled by individuals who genuinely care about helping others and making people feel at ease. It’s crucial for the well-being of patients and families.

The doctor we saw was lovely and willing to help though, so thank you very much!

I would like to personally thank Dr Aktar! Not only did she take up her valuable time to fully explain the different treatments/Medicines and options available to me but she also gave me the chance to explain my symptoms fully and allow me under her professional guidance to make my own decision based on my circumstances with no pressure, she was very observant and understanding that what i had been through and still dealing with physically and mentally may have had a huge impact on my mental health, Dr Aktar is honestly the first and only doctor to not only notice/inquire my mental state but also the first Dr to act on my mental health by taking into account the long term care and referring me to therapy instead of just dealing with the short term. I genuinely felt like i was actually being taken care of and felt like my health and wellbeing was taken very seriously in a very professional but comforting and caring manor instead of being rushed and forced into something i was not happy with, thank you very much! Your time and effort is well appreciated and i will be very happy to have you as my GP in the future if i have any further complications.

The secretaries in this GP practice are incompetente. In order to request a simple request 1 spent over 1 month. And it is not still done.
They send me different links to complete but no one of that was correct.

A decent practice
After joining this practice a few years back, I have been cycling through each doctor/nurse as I feel some of them are inconsiderate and impatient.
However, I recently had an appointment with Dr Kunwar, and I have finally found a doctor who listens and who I feel comfortable discussing my issues with. I don't feel like just another patient with her. Thank you for your kindness and compassion, Dr Kunwar.
