My mom comes to visit us in Dewsbury from India. When she came to visit us here in Dewsbury, she always went to the British Heart Foundation to buy things, as she knew the money she spent there went towards a good cause. However, on October 20th around 10:45 AM, while I was waiting in the car, she encountered an issue. She saw a handbag she liked and approached a girl working there who was asian origin (because my mom is a frequent visitor so have heard her speaking in hindi) who was working there to buy handbag. Unfortunately, this employee behaved rudely and took the handbag away from my mom saying its a branded bag. My mom waited but the lady said she was busy helping other customers and asked my mom to come back next time she even removed the price tag and said this bag is misprinted, also refusing to disclose the price for the handbag that day. My mom left the shop crying.
Rude staff, very unprofessional behaviour. If you don’t want to sell things please don’t put it up for sale.
It’s a charity shop, please have staff who has some morals and ethics and know how to behave with customers.

Horrible staff member and manager used to volunteer here before the lovely manager left when she left I got bullied they kept saying I didn't want too do the jobs I was asked I only missed a few days and you treated me so horrible and nasty you didn't even let me eat my dinner when i was almost gonna pass out because I needed to leave erailer. Your a disgrace and a horrible company you all deserve to be fired. Also saying I only came too volunteer too get my discount your disgusting and horrible treating somebody like that with learning difficulties.

This charity shop is expensive, but it is a clean shop with good stuff at times. The only thing I thought was dogs were not allowed in unless they guided dogs.
