We had a wonderful experience in leaving our mother in Britannia Care Home for ten days as 'Respite Care'. All the staff was welcoming and polite. Our mother was served and looked after really well. Bilingual staff made her feel at home. Management and staff kept us informed during that period. We are thankful to Britannia Care Home for their services and would certainly recommend it.

Britannia is a great home, delivering the best quality of care to all service users ranging from requiring personal care to mental health and elderly. All staff work together to strive for the same purpose which is outstanding performance, outstanding care. The management team always create new ideas or introduce new equipment such as better technology in order to improve the efficiency of care. For example, tablets were recently introduced so that each time staff completed a task such as the residents morning routine or that they had a certain meal; it was all logged into the tablet straightaway. This way, everything about the resident was recorded accurately. The residents enjoy socialising with each other through a series of new games and activities planned by the activity coordinator, Magda. Each week, their is always various exciting activities planned throughout the entire week such as a spa day. This way, the residents always have exciting plans to look forward to. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Britannia. I really miss caring for the lovely residents and the management will deal with any problems or issues you have. Keep it up Britannia:)

My mum stayed for just over two weeks. I have found the staff to be friendly and re- assuring that mum will be well looked after, and can confirm that she was. I am glad that I chose Britannia care as I found that staff and residents are diverse making mums stay comfortable. Thank you to all the staff who cared for my mother.

Brittania have been very flexible, and have taken great care of my father. All staff are caring and patient , which is quite demanding in the case of my father as he has advanced Parkinson's.
The management team are always available to discuss any requirements, and supported us during appointments for hospital and health centres.
The variety of meal choices is very good, catering for Western and Asian tastes, all food being of high quality as it is prepared on site.
In summary, I can not fault the service or staff.

Incredible care provided for my father while he was with us, during his time of illness and in his final hours. The staff at Britannia couldn't do enough for my family members, to make such a difficult time for our family as comfortable as could be. Offering to bring food, drinks, blankets. Making us feel that we were welcome to call them as often as we wanted without judgement. Allowing us to have those precious last few hours all together, and crying with us when the time came. We will never forget the kind, generous and warm wonderful staff and will forever be grateful for outstanding level of care given so freely to our Dad. Thank you xxx

It was my second visit to Britannia Care and I had an excellent time there for my placement, the care workers and health care professionals were amazing to me every week I looked forward to going there to assist and enjoy my day there, the service users are wonderful and in general the care staff are amazing people who place their time and effort to help the people in need truly good hearted people with welcoming smiles I would especially like to thank the manager Neena and the care staff Nadia, Kash, Uzhma, Magdalena, and all the other staff members as well as the cooking crew who prepare the nicest meals for the residents to enjoy every day. A wonderful place would go there again 🙂

My mum was at Britannia care for 11 years, she loved it here and was loved and cared for daily by all the wonderful staff member's here, she also had lot's of patients as friends and was very liked/loved by everyone. Sadly my mum (Shirley Cragg) died on the 25/12/21 and this was a massive shock to family/staff & the patients. My mum will be greatly missed by so many people as she touched so many people's hearts. Britannia care have been absolutely amazing and I will never be able to thank them enough for everything they did for my mum, such kind/caring and thoughtful staff who go above and beyond for their patients/friends. I know my mum is at peace now and is free from her demons but I will miss her always like so many and she will never be forgotten.
