4 stars due to long wait for appointment (3 weeks).
However, once there I got great treatment from the Receptionist, Julie who was very helpful. Dr Khan showed great care when dealing with me, chatty, engaged and genuinely interested in what I had to say. Took time to hopefully get me the right diagnosis and treatment. Can't fault my experience with either Julie or Dr Khan, perfect.

Just when you thought this place couldn't get any worse they have now stopped you from doing almost everything over the phone and you now have to do it via the website...but guess what, the website can only accept a certain amount of requests a day until it becomes "temporarily unavailable". But still the receptionists on the phone wont deal with you, they tell you to try again tomorrow on the website.
This place is criminal and it needs closing down and replacing

They are awful if you have any type of disability. The doctors will do anything but listen to you. Even with a validating diagnosis they will say that you life isn't affected by it (how would they know), you then get accused if faking it which is absolutely ridiculous.
The complete lack of care and empathy is unacceptable. No wonder people just sit in silence and suffer rather then seeking help.

Despite the numerous negative reviews I’ve noticed for this centre, I must express that my experience today was nothing short of exceptional. I reached out to them around noon and was promptly scheduled for an appointment later in the afternoon. The receptionist who assisted me was genuinely concerned about my situation, instilling a sense of assurance that I was in good hands.

Later in the day, around 15:30, I received a call from a delightful lady named Eleanor. She too expressed genuine care and provided valuable advice regarding my situation. I’ve been hesitant to use GP services due to hearing about past unpleasant experiences and reading negative reviews, but I can confidently say that my recent interaction with this centre has alleviated my concerns. I now feel reassured and comforted knowing that my health is being prioritised by them. Thank you.

I'm a type 1 diabetic.
On multiple occasions these guys have not given me my insulin.
Sometimes it's because they want me to book in a diabetic review or blood test (which they are paid for doing via the Care Quality Reporting Service).
Sometimes it's because they don't "feel" that I should be ordering yet.
On other occasions they've took essential items, that the diabetes centre @ Rotherham says that I need (e.g test strips, iron tablets, ketone strips).
On one occasion, the lack of insulin led to an ambulance being called for me because I wouldn't wake. The paramedics have a special number, to skip the queues and get straight through. They called 3 times and were hung up on 3 times. They had to take me to hospital a+e to treat me instead because they simply couldn't get through.
There was one excellent nurse (Holly) who worked there a while and fixed some of these issues for me temporarily. I understand she isn't employed by the surgery anymore.
NHS guidelines state that medication necessary for life (e.g insulin for a type 1 diabetic) should not be withheld under any circumstances but these guys do it and threaten to do it regularly.
Just asking for a lawsuit!

3rd July notice the all caps. This is one of around 3 messages of this nature received in the past month, and I've received them for around 7 or 8 years now. On some occasions they've even witheld medication until I've booked an annual review which has already been done and they simply won't listen. My record is 3 annual diabetic reviews in 12 months due to threats to withhold medicine.

"Dear Mr Nicholls,

You are due for your annual BLOOD TESTS and BLOOD PRESSURE CHECK. THIS IS NEEDED TO BE ABLE TO REAUTHORIZE YOUR PRESCRIPTIONS FOR THE NEXT 12 MONTHS. Please make an appointment as soon as you possibly can.
Thanks, Sanaa Darwish

This is a breach of NHS guidelines. "If you do not allow us to complete an unnecessary service which allows us additional funding through CQRS, we will deny you the medication you need to live"

The doctors at this surgery are brilliant & so understandable ive been with medical centre for ages. But the receptionist is so rude. She doesnt know to listen to anyone one phone. As soon as i phoned, staright answer was if you are ringing for appointment its not available for 5 weeks. Thats the statement she gave me. Instead listening to me first as doctor told me to try the medicine if it doesnt work come back to us. The main problem with this surgery is foul language, rude and mardy receptionist. Iwish iknew her name. You can let your patients know nicely that no appointments are available instead of having attitude and rudeness
