I was asked to contact the surgery to make an appointment. It was booked 2 weeks ahead. Today(1 week ahead) I was told by message the appointment can't be done. Apparently the Dr has a meeting. When I've just spoken to the surgery I have been told someone will call me in a 3 hour slot.
I too have appointments in my working life and have to set times, it's called common courtesy.
Apparently the Dr's status means that they can do what they like to suit them and we have to just put up with it.
Computer says no is the way this surgery functions.

It's me Marc. Great surgery, Claire is the most helpful pharmacist, definitely the office fitty no offence to the other girls. Overall I would recommend this place over other surgeries (boo to the one by train station)

I have always found the staff at Bridge House Medical Centre to be friendly and helpful, The receptionists try their hardest to fit in appointments and will give advice about when to try again if nothing is available. The doctors and nurses are friendly and reassuring and take the time to listen.

Without question, the best GP practice we have ever experienced and as a family, we’ve had a few over the years.
A friendly welcoming team from Receptionist through to GP, who make the whole experience so easy and re-assuring.
If ‘Carling’ made GP practices, this is how it should be.

I just wanted to write a quick note to say that I feel very lucky to be with this surgery. We don't that often (luckily) need to make doctors appointments or discuss issues - but every single time we do, it is excellent service. Never had an issue getting an appointment. The whole team are helpful, knowledgeable and from our experience the system works very well.
