New member of staff very unprofessional very rude not helpful in anyway.
My sister has got cold and needs rescue pack ordered it on the phone was informed could not do it that way so asked for a gp appointment and she took script over phone.
I said thank u she never said anything but I could hear her slagging me of to other staff.
She is ruining the surgery for other receptionists she needs to have lessons on manners and smiling.

Just a brief update, had to visit the Surgery this morning. No difficulty getting an appointment with the practice nurse Angela - who I have to say was absolutely BRILLIANT, very patient, very understanding and very helpful. Could not have asked for a better experience.

Very friendly and helpful from the moment you cross the threshold. Never had a problem with the Bowry.

Best GP practice in years . We had changed 7 GP practices due to moving jobs and this one is the best.

With staff like Mrs Angela and Mrs Sue I finally felt listen too. And even if the process is hard to get into they made my experience at this practice just over 10.

This was a good doctors until about six months ago
Now you can’t get a appointment
Can’t get through on the phone
To many per books being done
New receptionist not very nice
Prescriptions going missing or not their when you have ordered them
And there is simply not enough doctors to see and one doctor is very short with you.
Only good thing about this doctors now is Ann the nurse .

The doctors have always been great, but this review is for Emily on reception. She always goes above and beyond to help. Last year she helped me get in touch with paediatricians and other doctors when I had no idea how to contact them (even though she really didn't have to because my child's case had been passed on from the GP to specialists). Today she has helped me again. Nothing is ever too much trouble for her. That lady needs a raise.

I changed my GP practice to the Bowery in 2021 and can honestly say that I could not be more satisfied. The staff are obliging, helpful and courteous and will try and accommodate patients to the best of their ability. I have a number of health issues, and know that I am receiving the best medical attention I could wish for. Just want to say a big thank you to all the staff.

We moved to this GP around 2 months ago after a terrible experience at our old surgery. Wow!!! What a difference it makes to have TIMELY and EFFICIENT medical care! Every staff member has been so welcoming and shown the utmost professionalism. They have followed up on my care and updated me at every step along the way. For the first time in years I feel as though I’m in charge of my own care. Thank you!

I attended today for my smear and I can honestly say I felt so at ease with Angela. She discussed everything fully with me and I didn't feel uncomfortable or worried. It takes a few minutes and if everyone did this there would be a lot more women willing to attend. Thank you Angela and all the staff at the Bowery for your brilliant service at this difficult time.
