I have used this dental surgery for about 8 years now and due to bad teeth, have had a number of different procedures. Sophie has always been superb. She's a dentist that I trust and to me, that's the most important thing. Herself and the team are friendly but professional and as happy as I can be going to any dentist, I am with this practice.

I had the displeasure of visiting this surgery this week. I have an impacted tooth that is infected and I was looking to get referred to have this removed. I was told on the phone there was no NHS appointments until April and that a private appointment would cost £55.

I opted for a private appointment as I am going on Holiday in a few weeks and would like to get this looked at before. I then went to the appointment expecting my normal dentist however, he was on holiday. At no point prior to the booking was I made aware of this. I was met by another dentist who I have no idea what her name was, (an elderly Asian woman). Who quickly looked in my mouth and said 'yes it is infected and you will need antibiotics'. The whole appointment lasted 2 minutes and I spent longer driving to the appointment that I did getting examined.

I was then told I would have to rebook an appointment when my dentist is back and I can't be referred even though it was obvious there is not enough room for the impacted tooth to come out and it has become infected as a result. The dentist I saw said it is policy for referrals to only occur after 3 infections, so be advised you will need to go through PAIN 3 TIMES for them to actually consider you an issue.

When I was questioning them about why I had to come back the receptionist was very poor at communicating this and the dentist who I saw was also very uninterested. She recommended that I go to another practice so I will make the point to everyone reading this review to do the same. They were also not looking me in the eye when speaking which I found very rude and discomforting.

It is obvious this surgery has become more interested in making a profit and speeding through patients rather than giving them actual care and treatment. I have been a patient at this surgery for over 15 years and from the beginning I would say that the service from staff has been poor however, the dentists were effective. However, I can no longer say that the dentist were effective at all so I would recommend to everyone to use a different surgery and to save your time and money.

I have seen another review stating that this surgery should be reported to the NHS and I will be doing just that.

I have been visiting the practice since April 2023 and have had the best experience. The service is absolutely brilliant from the receptionists, dental nurses, hygienists to the dentists. I have never met a more friendly, professional and highly experienced team. Visiting dentists can be daunting however, I was put at ease by the team and have had a wonderful experience with my Invisalign journey.
The dentist listened to my concerns and created a bespoke plan with regular check ups and appointments. Their prices for Invisalign are also highly competitive so if you are looking for a dentist, I would highly recommend this practice and dentist Aneeqah.
I will be continuing with the dentist for all my future treatments and cannot be more grateful for the lovely experience and treatment I have received from the team.

Absolutely rubbish dentistry. Went to the principal dentist. And the work was so shoddy that, the filling was done, 1 month later fell out. Replaced filling. Lead to a bigger filling being placed, 1 month later same story. The tooth had been drilled to the point that there was no support left. Needed to have a crown. Crown put in, 3 weeks later, crown fell out. Ended up with severe infection to the point ended up in A&E.

My younger brother went, saw the colleague, got told "leaky fillings" needed to have all fillings replaced!....honestly this is just like sweat shop running a conning people scheme! Avoid like the plague. The practice needs to he struck off the NHS.

Absolutely diabolical, I went to Sophie the principal dentist, the service is absolutely rubbish. She is incompetent. I went in for a broken tooth. She said it was close to the nerve. Yet she started drilling and being quite heavy handed, despite being numbed I jumped in my seat....I mean what an idiot. Why would you say it's close to the nerve and start drilling!!! Surely you'd recommend something else, ie an extraction, rather than going for a crown and make extra money! I would rather have gone for the extraction rather than her mindlessly start drilling and then having to stop as she had hit my nerve. She then stopped and closed the cavity and told me to wait 6 months before it can be worked on!!!!! NEED I SAY MORE! THIS DENTISTRY SHOULD BE REPORTED TO THE NHS AND GDC and shut down for good

Very welcoming staff and very helpful dental nurse especially Kinga she is very sweet , caring and helpful I felt so calm and relaxed their I highly recommend this dentist surgery as the dentists are extremely professional and thorough
