After ordering my tickets online for me and the wife,we was most disappointed when we got there to find a lot of roads coned off near the venue. The venue clearly stated once you arrive in your vehicle you would not be allowed to leave before ten o'clock. No cars were in the venue at all, great atmosphere plenty of stalls for food and drink. Another thing that surprised me, why did they light a bonfire in the opposite field to where the fireworks display was taking place. Had a good time but I won't be coming back anytime soon bye.

Reviewing the bonfire night. Just an advise: don't bother to pay for a ticket. You can enjoy the fireworks from the outside, avoiding a highly overcrowded field, moody floor, no place to seat down and endless queues to order food or drinks, and also queues to get it and out. Ridiculous.

Second event we have had here and the staff were great, polite and well presented. The drinks were well priced and overall a very good experience. With the outdoor area although on our visit it was a little chilly it was still a great area to have our food barbecue/hog roast set up. Nice venue well kept, clean and tidy and very cosy. Suited us completely. Highly recommend if you are looking for a venue for a party or similar.

Bowdonbury Festival 2023! Absolutely blooming awesome with Boney M ft Maize Williams! What more could you ask for?! Nothing! Everything was spot on fantastic! Can't wait for 2024!

Quieter than normal due to Covid but still plenty of outside activities keeping the younger folks active in body & mind. The club bar is shut under Tier 3 but as a whole with signage etc it's clear the club are taking everyone's health & safety extremely seriously. Definitely somewhere to go back to once things settle down. ?

A notoriously bad place and surface to park even before playing the sport of choice. In inclement weather, all that much and filth is being walked onto a very expensive hockey playing surface, realising this when you come off the pitch absolutely filthy dirty. Really poor.

Cheltenham HC had a great experience at Bowdon HC. A really good U16B cup match followed by excellent hospitality in the clubhouse
