My most of my carers let me know when I running low on supplies. My carers are caring compassionate and respectful. When i ring the office they are always helpful caring and willing to solve any issues I may have. The supervisor has also taken me out in her own time to go to specksavers when my glasses broke and went shopping and for a coffee that I really enjoyed. She has also brought me a take away hot chocolate when I haven't fell well enough to go out. I would recommend bluebird care to anyone who is looking for carers.

I have worked for bluebird over 3 years now. I started as a carer which enjoyed very much loved all the customers. All cares was and still are very friendly and help full. i felt i could always ring or go in to see the office for support and advice whenever needed. I then went to be a mentor whitch gave me more responsibilities I really enjoyed being a mentor. I then completed my NVQ level 3 I felt I got a lot of support from all staff while doing my NVQ. I then become a supervisor whitch I really enjoy i have more responsibility, also I get to meet new customers. I have also built up a good working relationship with all customers and carers. I have also built up my confidence alot while being a supervisor in many ways, for example ask for help when i feel its needed, another way I feel ive made myself more confident with using the computer. I have worked in care for many years before joining bluebird care but I feel I have grown in myself as a person a lot more while working for bluebird care and I feel I have betterd myself in these 3 years with bluebird care then any where eles. I felt from day one bluebird care believe in me and made me believe in myself.

Good points, Great Nurse and SOME very good carers who go above and beyond.
Bad points - Lots, without going into detail they have always talked a good job but afraid for my family have consistently failed to deliver a high quality level of care or some times care at all.
Staff all appear to be overworked and constantly being asked to do extra hours and they have a very high turnover of staff compared to other companies we have used.
Bottom line, out of choice will never use them again and certainly would not recommend anybody to use them.

Just noticed that one of the carers has posted the same comment 4 times for 4 different branches of Bluebird.....

I have worked for bluebird for coming up 2 years. The whole team is very supportive of one another, managers, supervisors, mentors and other carers. The training recieved is excellent. I think all carers deliver a First class service with genuine caring staff. I have worked in the care sector for 20 years + and by far the Best employer I have had.

I started working for Bluebird in May, I have never done care work before and was unsure what to expect. Excellent training was provided and a shadow system in place so I felt confident and well prepared to go out alone. All the staff are friendly and helpful and there is always 100% support when you need it. I would definitely recommend them to anyone not only as a carers for their loved ones, but as employers.

I have worked for bluebird for 5 1/2 years first as a carer then mentor and now supervisor. I have worked for various different care companies and none compar to working for bluebird. The office staff are wonderful nothing is ever to much trouble. We all work together as a team and help each other as i think that's the way it should be. We have wonderful carers who go above and beyond for our customers. I am proud to be a bluebird

They don’t even deserve one star. AVOID. What a shocking company. They treat their staff absolutely appallingly. Their working practices are terrible, not even knowing what situation you are walking into. My poor daughter never knew what she was working from one day to the next and if she was even going to get paid for the work she had done. Surely it’s illegal to not pay staff for work done? They need investigating by the CCG. 😡

I’ve worked for Bluebird Care for 3 years in total with a year off for maternity leave. The office staff have supported me through everything, including my mat leave. They give excellent training to start with which gives you the confidence to start your caring career, having not worked in care before they supported me and pushed me to where I needed to be. I would highly recommend bluebird to anyone looking into working in care.
