I put a repeat prescription in at Drs on 29th 5.30pm and it’s now the 4th and still No prescription signed today. I was told that it would be signed yesterday by end of practice. Now awaiting end of practice today. Gabapentin is not a tablet that you can just suddenly stop. I have been with this practice for 20 plus years and I can honestly say in all the years never have I had a problem like this. The staff tell you they cannot interrupt the Doctor to get it signed off even tho it’s a controlled drug and you cannot get it on emergency prescriptions from nhs 111.

As a current patient with this shambles of a surgery I can hand on heart say that these members of this doctors are rude, arrogant and just no sympathy what so ever. I suffer mental health issues and these people make you feel smaller then small.
I was also prescribed mirtazapine 60mg which the doctor failed to mention that the highest dose was 45mg, so I had to drop 15mg that furthered my mental health to the point of suicide thoughts.
The reception staff ate the most arrogant and rude people I've ever spoke to.
Update so I've been put on weekly prescription to only have to constantly ring and find out why my tablets are not at the chemist. Absolutely a joke of a doctors.

I did a e consult online and had a call back call to book me in for my appointment the following week, my call was by a polite gentlemen from the reception. My GP for that day was Dr Boctor Nadar, such a empthatic and kind lady, what was lovely it felt she could relate to my circumstances and took me seriously. I really hope if i need to return i would be able to see her again. Many thanks for your great service

Best drs we've ever had. Dr Gregg was brilliant. We now have Dr Walls who is the best drs I've ever had! Kind, takes you seriously, has time to listen. These days it's a phone call and then they arranged to see you if they need to which I think is good. They speak to more people this way and weed out minor issues.
Reception staff are good too. Don't try to diagnosis you, or ask too much personal info and not pushy like some practises.

I have nothing but good things to say about this practice. We have been registered there for 6 years now and every appointment has been easy to arrange (often same day even if not urgent) and effective. Dr Hale is superb. He listens and offers pragmatic advice. We were particularly happy with the way he treated our elderly grandmother- he didn't give up on her where her previous surgery in Southsea had said there was nothing more they could do for her. At one point, we were speaking daily as her condition deteriorated- I think that is fairly unique these days.

Never had any issues with this doctors. Can get an emergency appointment straight away if needed. Receptionist have always been polite to me.

This used to be a great practice and it wasn't long ago I was singing their praises to others, however they are now no different to all the other below average practices around. I needed a letter of medical evidence to prove to my income protection that I have been ill and was told that this isn't possible. My income protection will only accept my claim with a GP letter which is fair enough to prevent false claims.

The receptionist was fairly dismissive and pretty much asked me to hang up 'because it's Monday morning and I'm busy'. I was only offered the chance to call again specifically on a Wednesday as 'my' GP works on that day - I was not allowed to see any other GPs despite never having seen this GP in the past 5 years. The system is a shambles and this practice is now clearly falling into the black hole that is NHS primary care.

I work in healthcare too and I'd be ashamed if this is how my patients were treated.

Cannot speak highly enough of Park Lane Medical Centre, from the wonderful Receptionist's, who are beyond helpful! Our fantastic GP Doctor Hale, who takes the time to listen before diagnosis. Dr Hale has been absolutely wonderful with my husband [and] myself.
Getting an appointment is relatively easy. Nurses great. Professional practice in every aspect!
