I have been a patient at Blackrod Health Centre for 25 years. Luckily I don’t go very often but yesterday I rang for an appointment, I waited 25 minutes for the phone to be answered just to be told that I couldn’t have an appointment because I had been deleted from the system. I asked why had I been deleted and I was told that they didn’t know and they couldn’t get access to my details because they had been deleted. I asked what I should do and I was told that I had to go online and register as a new patient. I have registered as a new patient…somewhere else.

Whilst waiting for 35mins for a booked appointment a gentleman man came in for a repeat prescription he told the lady behind the desk he couldnt read /write she told him to fill out his form he has to do it, poor man sat there trying to figure out what to do couldn't even write his own name, I helped him myself he had even asked for help on arrival absolutely shocking! I'm not very good myself at spelling & writing but between the two of us we did it

Think more disability awareness training needs to be done

Absolutely disgusting place, my 87 year old grandma came in as she was passing the building with signs of a stroke, and absolutely nothing was done for her, not even offered to ring an ambulance for her. Zero care for health at all, just a group of power hungry receptionist and cowardly GP’s who stealing a living!!

My daughter phoned up at 8.00 got though at 8.35 to be told no appointments today she explained what the problem was and still said no to her , so I went up and asked why and I got the same reply, I said there’s no one In siting down same reply back no appointments , if you ring 111 we have booking free for that , so give her one off them can’t they have to do it , then she said you must download the app , it’s disgusting the way people are being treated at the doctors that you can’t see one , then if something happens it’s all covered up to save there backs , things need to change to make it better for everyone, not just takeing the money , now my daughter has to go to the hospital instead has the doctors would not see her what a waste of time our doctor are laughing stock of Blackrod
