4 stars for doctors and surgeons. Excellent service, I got seen to very rapidly and my operation was completed. Only concern was a certain night nurse ( Thai or Phillipino) and her lack of support (exception of one black nurse she was on the ball with pain killers) when asking for pain killers left me to be in mortal agony from about 23.00 until 09:00am day staff came on and issued medication as per my sheet-every 4 hours pain killers, said nurse couldn't even give me paracetamol? Another problem was with medication after discharge, never shown me about the injection I had to give myself 🤷‍♂️The young medical assistants were absolutely brilliant, caring and respectful. The rest of the staff were faultless and friendly unlike some in Greater Manchester, excellent bedside manner and it was reciprocated. I got an infection though but this could be due to Rochdale or Oldham district nurses scrubbing at my wound and not telling someone higher about the infection earlier. I'm now back in hospital this time Royal Oldham hospital.
