Always had very good experiences with the medical / nursing staff (namely Dr Farooq and Dana). Receptionists for the most part are fantastic however there was one male receptionist who was incredibly unfriendly and robotic-like however I haven’t come across him in a while so hopefully he has left. The receptionist in headscarf is very sweet (sorry I don’t know her name).

Going here since 2011 and have never faced any difficulties for booking an appointment for myself my wife or my kids. Dr Farooq is a great doctor his diagnose is just brilliant and he makes sure we are always looked after.
Even the other Doctors and the staff are really helpful. Remi on the reception is one of the nicest. Thank you.

Spoke with Aimee, physician associate today about my repeat medication and an ongoing illness. She was so helpful and actually filled me with hope that we’re finally getting to the bottom of things. I thought the way she articulated herself was very personable but professional, which is exactly what you want when dealing with something so personal as your health. Thanks Aimee!

I have always had a good experience with Blackfriars. They get in touch quickly and resolve issues quickly. This afternoon I was in a lot of discomfort and Farnhan called me quickly and was so helpful and arranged a prescription for me to collect. Thank you!

Impossible to reach over the phone. Have been calling all morning for some test results, but every time I get put in a queue, to which I am the first person in, but after 15min no one has answered. This has happened more than three times today, which means I have been waiting on a queue of 1 person for a total of approx. 1h.
There's no notice on Google Maps or their website that they're closed today, so not sure why I cannot reach them.
I have attached a picture of the calls I have made today (8), none of the answered.

EDIT: results line still not working a month later. called today to get some new results and was told it has not been working for some time. there is no notice of this anywhere on the practice or its website.

EDIT 2: the practice has commented that all phone lines are working. This is a lie as the test results line always has an automated message saying it is closed and only open form 10am (this message plays all day, even after 10am). I have also never been able to get through to the medical secretary line. Furthermore, I was told over the phone by a member of staff that not all lines work and that they need to remove some of the options. I was also told to always press 1 for appointments because that line does always work. I have also sent them an email before when the line did not work and did not receive a response.

Always quick to respond to askmygp requests and all of the doctors I have spoken with have been so lovely. They are efficient with referrals and prescriptions. Thank you ☺️

Carnt recommend Blackfriars enough. Having been lost in the NHS trying to find a good GP in Manchester, Blackfriars truly cares. I was spoken to by Sarah who really listened to me and I genuinely felt like I was being heard, the team is a credit to the NHS!
