Always engaged, hard to get an appointment. Even harder to get the correct full prescription sent through. Now trying to get an emergency as blackbrook missed it off, but pharmacist is engaged.(shock). Victoria gate couldn't even find a doctor last week to sign a prescription, nurse assured us it would be there Friday. Well it wasn't. Just as well we have spare. About time your management took some responsibility a stepped in to the line of fire. Meeting with your patience that request it. Or simply answer the phones. You'll soon see what your patience and staff deal with day by day. Whatever happened to duty of care? I've been told very rudely by reception to put it in writing, as apparently you don't listen to your staff either. Only reason you have 1 star is because of Dr Horman.

Lord Parker

This is a first, reviewing a doctors surgery, but it wasn't a bad experience, so here we go.

On arriving at the surgery I was able to park very easliy in the disabled parking, which is next to the pharmacy, as I approached the entrance, I was asked for my name by a polite young lady. I said Parker and she asked for my first name, I told her I never use it as I was Lord Parker, she instantly found that name on the list....

I was only here for my annual flu jab, nothing serious, so don't worry, I'm quite tickety-boo thanks. I was directed to the next memebr of staff who showed me to a room where the Dr was waiting, I took off my jumper he held my sleeve up and by the time I had put the jumper on the chair, he was done and I did not feel a thing.

Like a great big converyor belt I was ushered outthe back door and away I went, the whole process took less than a minute and was seamless. Love this surgery.

This surgery is a complete dichotomy. Either they are fantastic (EG guarantee same day call back) or dire (EG reception staff telling medically trained patients incorrect information,) overall good. But could do better

Having called to book a vaccination jab's for my holiday in June, I was surprised to have to wait until 10th May, my partner's having being done almost straight away from her surgery. The next day I took a phone call from a different lady wanting to cancel my appointment due to them no longer doing the Jabs. Having questioned it, the lady on the phone explained she would speak to her manager and call back within 10 minutes. No phone call back.
I called the next day and spoke to a manager Debbie, She advised me due to insurance the nurses have stopped doing the Jabs I need, She gave me various other surgery's to book into? I asked for my NHS number to move surgery's ( Having been with them since I was A kid ) and she seemed almost relieved. I booked in with Boot's for the vaccination and within 15 Minutes Debbie called back saying they could do them, and that boots may refer myself back to the surgery to get them done? My partner had no issues at all and needless to say i will be registering at her Surgery!

It very efficient and welcoming, always aim to please, the staff are very friendly but sometimes can be very difficult to do your prescription online apart from that an excellent doctors service

Victoria surgery was great until it merged with Blackbrook. Blackbrook surgery's phone is constantly engaged and when it does ring they cut you off. In the end I gave up ringing and visited the surgery to book an appointment. I got there about 4pm and the surgery was completely empty. The receptionist advised me they can only book two hour slots. Absolute rubbish...I need to find a decent surgery.

I've been with these doctors my whole life, but now it's a pile of rubbish, I got misdiagnosed for something which turned out to be gallstones which should of been of my file that I already had it, then I had kidney stones in pain for days and got misdiagnosed with muscle pains, not only that I had to wait 2 weeks for a phone call then another 3 weeks to be seen, I've waited up to 6 weeks just to see my own Dr and even just for a phone call, not to mention I've had 3 different doctors in the last 4 years which just proves how bad it is, it's incompetent medical staff!! If I was anybody else I would just stay clear it's not worth it, I'm changing my doctors asap

Absolutely disgraceful practice. My dad hasn't actually seen a Dr for years, just gets nurses and clinicians. I turned up tonight and they would not let me in the door, expected me to shout through a tannoy in front of a que of people to explain what I wanted and refused me entry, unbelievable!!! There's noone in the surgery at all and the doctors are completely absent. What the hell are they doing for there £1000k salary
