Absolutely ridiculous. The doctors couldn’t care less. Waited over an hour for my appointment to the point I just walked out. Wasn’t even seen. Could have been told results over phone. And receptionists too busy gossiping in the back to be at the desk

They were supposed to deliver my dad's heart tablets on Friday but they were not delivered. He rang on Monday to double check if they were still coming they assured him they were coming, but gain nothing came.
This is neglect of an elderly patient. If the tablets do not arrived today (Tuesday) I will be taking this a LOT further.

The worse surgery, doctors have been racist to my family and i, you wait over 30 minutes on the phone to get through to get told they are full for the day, when you have a full time job its very hard to get in in fact absolutely impossible, the phone staff have absolutely no empathy at all just tell you to go see a pharmacy? its a good job i pay all my taxs to see my GP and never actually see them when I need to!! awful place, if anyone knows anywhere decent please let me know.

Ridiculous call waiting times in the morning. Ridiculous waiting times of over an hour in the surgery despite having an appointment time and it seemingly empty. Many other patients complaining about the wait times saying it's nothing new here. Find another surgery if you can.

I have been with Birkwood medical centre since I was a child, in the good old days of having a family doctor who knew your name. This practice has severely gone downhill. You're left on the phone for at least an half an hour waiting for the queue to slowly tick down and if you're lucky you won't be cut off before the call is answered. If you are lucky enough to get an appointment and not a call back (how is it possible to diagnose anything over the phone?) the doctors are dismissive and patronising. There is however, one commendable doctor, doctor Severin but as you can imagine her services are much sought after. This being said it seems the fate of most NHS practices these days, empty waiting rooms and no appointments.

Went this morning for a borderline diabetes retinal scan. The receptionist was very pleasant.
The eye technicians Kim and sharon were great at their job and made me fee really at ease.
I will definitely be returning.

Absolutely disgraceful, waited on the phone for 30 mins to be told to ring back on Monday. I wasn’t prepared to tell the receptionist exactly what I was ringing for because it’s not her business. I told her I wanted either an appointment yesterday or Monday and it was for women’s health. Then to be told we can’t pre-book appointments, don’t lie because when I took my little boy in November how did you book an appointment to see him again. Is that not a pre booked appointment or am I mistaken? How does other appointments get booked ie blood and you turn round and say to someone see you on such and such day! It’s pre-booked! For them to turn and say it’s emergencies only well is that not what A&E is for? I don’t often ring but when I do I always dread it because of the attitude lack of empathy and going round town just to get an appointment. Not something you need when you’re not well!
