Far too small for Bingham, good luck trying to use the Gym after 3pm. The Gym needs to be double the size to accommodate the demand in the afternoon / evening.

Secondary, the availability of lane swimming from 5pm is very limited, the majority of people who work 9-5 want to swim after work, not late into the evening after you’ve already been home and had dinner.

The Gym has great potential, just needs more space and equipment availability for the main Gym and maybe have lane swimming every night from 5pm till 7pm.

Quite a few reviewers are saying there’s lots of empty space that could be utilised, Please can we have some more gym equipment in that empty space?

Have cancelled my membership for swimming. Doesn't really open early enough to swim before work if you work Monday to Friday. Can't swim after work because of schools and lessons. Not upset by the schools but then only option is too late doing other parent stuff.

Main reason for cancelling is the cleanliness of the changing rooms and showers. Filthy all the time. Full of rubbish and hair. Nobody cleans anything. All tables, floors and windows are disgusting. Don't want to use the place at all.

Lovely modern facilities, clean and well maintained. Pool is lovely and warm. Much nicer compared to Cotgrave and Rushcliffe. Only quibble is there seems to be a lot of unused space. Where are the sports courts?

I've encountered repeated issues with my QR code ID when attending classes at Bingham Arena.Despite scanning it diligently, there have been occasions where it hasn't registered, resulting in restrictions on my ability to book classes. Even when I've been placed on the waiting list and availability opens up, I'm unable to book through the app and must resort to manual booking via email because I have an Android phone.

Upon seeking assistance, the past three restrictions were resolved after polite and detailed explanations. However, the fourth restriction has persisted for over a week. On May 7, 2024 at 8:30 pm after my body pump class, I visited the reception and was assured by the staff that the issue had been resolved. Yet, the following day, I encountered the same problem.

Frustrated by the ongoing issue, I reached out for assistance once more. Unfortunately, the response from Rachel was dismissive and unhelpful. Despite providing evidence of previous restrictions, I was met with insistence that there was no fault with the system. Feeling unheard and disregarded, I expressed my frustration, only to be labeled as rude. I got angry because you won't listen and cutting me off! LISTEN!!!! I want to be heard and understood! Not you are insisting that there is nothing wrong with your system because obviously there is !

As a paying customer, I expect to be treated with respect and understanding. The attitude displayed by the staff does not align with the excellent customer service demonstrated by the manager during a recent virtual body pump experience. The manager's proactive approach and genuine concern for customer satisfaction were commendable.

Having worked in customer service for 20 years in the UK, Dubai, and the whole South East Asia, I understand the importance of empathy and attentiveness. It is disheartening to be made to feel like the problem when all I seek is a resolution to a recurring issue. It is essential to remember that people don't become upset without reason. I have been very patient with you guys & enduring restrictions on my bookings four times is not acceptable! The past week, It's disheartening to repeatedly hear that only the manager can resolve this, especially when it should be within the capability of any member. While conversing with Rachel, I made sure to take screenshots as evidence. This was so I could demonstrate the situation accurately when speaking with her in person. Interestingly, shortly after our conversation, the restriction was miraculously lifted. Transparency and accountability are vital for fostering trust and resolving issues effectively. Constructive feedback allows businesses to improve and provide better service to their customers. I hope for improvement in the future and request the opportunity to discuss this matter further with the manager.

Very disappointed. 1.unisex pool changing room ( no consideration for someone who might gone through abuse, or who is watching your todler having a shower!). 2. Cleanliness of changing room very questionable and showers are nonexistent, unless you call a dust spray a shower. 3. Although lanes are wide, it's very crowded, for slow Lane as advertised for someone who likes to keep distance, it is imposible due to so many people in 1 Lane. Constantly behind someone and yet someone is touching your feet behind you. For the price they charge would definitely not recommend.

Was not enjoying going so tried to cancel my membership, had to call up and was told I had to pay another month, when I asked if I could avoid it was told that I could and they would do that now so I cancelled my direct debit. Fast forward and they still charge me for the next month and slap another 20 quid on because I cancelled my direct debit without any warning.

A modern community leisure centre with no sports courts is just ridiculous.

Like many have already said, there is so much wasted space! A tiny gym for the size of building and the quality of machinery is sub par.

The pool changing rooms do often smell like service station toilets and the changing room cubes are not regularly cleaned!

There is no sauna or cold plunge, just the basic 25m and kiddies pool. Lane swimming is not well managed. It’s very obvious when a slow swimmer is in the fast lane. People may not be aware of the lane segregation by ability, it is not sign posted nor is the direction of swim.

I wanted a swim monthly membership so I could swim train for an event with the flexibility to cancel, but no such membership exists. I have to pay the full flexi membership £45 per month just to swim! Even though not using the gym facilities.

Other gym options offer so much more and are much better value. This leisure centre offers me convenience and is a short 5 minute walk away! It is such a shame, it could have been so much more!

Six lanes swimming pool, great gym, coffee shop, hall for activities and a big carpark (free for 3 hrs). Good arena with friendly staff. For playing batminton, have to go to leisure centre.
