These gardens were awesome, there isn’t a thing I could fault, historical, informative, educational and economic everything was there the grounds staff have done an amazing job in keeping up the grounds. The entrance and cafe staff were pleasant and polite. We visited another garden and Bicton park is by far the better in so many ways. Well done to all staff for making our visit a most enjoyable experience.

A day at Bicton is heaven for me and my toddler! It is a beautiful place with regular friendly staff who take good care of Bicton. There is lots to keep children entertained - parks, soft play, ducks and the train going around the grounds several times a day. For grown ups, the gardens are very impressive and I would happily spend a couple of hours on my own walking around surveying the grounds! The café and gift shop are great.

We enjoy an annual membership which is good value for money as we go quite often. The soft play means we have a nice day out even when the weather is poor. You have to pay a little extra for soft play and the train which in my opinion is worth it to keep these things running.

Thank you Bicton!

Was okay, not sure it was worth the £57 to get in. The kids enjoyed the 25 minute train ride, the sandwiches were bland and pricey. The tables stayed cluttered with previous people's plates and leftovers. We visited the museum which was interesting but not nearly enough information, we were chucked out at 4:10pm - I couldn't see anywhere that said the museum closed earlier than the park.
The loo's were not very clean either.
The dahlias were magnificent and the palm house was interesting.

Great place for easy walk/stroll with designated trails with bird hide and bee keeping area. For all the family old or the young. With a small plant shop outside along with a shop with tea/coffee and cake a long with warm counter snack food. Take a few hours exploring the delights this little gem has to offer.

Fantastic place, expensive as a one off possibly but the annual pass is well worth it. Lots for toddlers to do. Massive outdoor play area and indoor soft play. The train is great fun as well. Superb clean toilets and general facilities. Good parking. It's a great day out!

We upgraded to the annual pass after our first visit. We love walking around the gardens and our little one loves the outdoor play park, the museum and the train. There are plenty of picnic benches spread out throughout the gardens so we always bring picnic with us. They have a lovely cafe though if you rather not bring your own food.
