Baby massage was a life saver. A calm time for me to bond with my baby when life was overwhelming. My little one really loved it.

We went on to do Stretch and Sing and that was brilliant too! The toys used were great and different to anything I had seen elsewhere. Each week I saw my baby develop. Through the conversations and seeing the other babies it gave me a better understanding of what was to come and made me feel more prepared for it (first time mum).

I attended the antenatal classes at Beyond the Bump and found them really useful to learn more about what to expect and how to prepare for birth in a calm and supportive environment. Vicky and Melissa are both really lovely and knowledgeable! Since then I've attended the coffee mornings with Katie who has been able to provide support and advice on breastfeeding.

During the summer of 2023, I attended Beyond the Bump's antenatal swimming classes. They were fantastic classes that I highly recommend to any expectant mother. The class provided a great balance of relaxation and gentle exercise, offering a perfect opportunity to stay active while being mindful of the changes happening in your body during pregnancy. Vicky and Melissa were so friendly, knowledgeable and supportive, making sure to adapt exercises to suit different stages of pregnancy and any individual needs.

The pool environment was warm and calming, which helped to ease any discomfort I had been feeling, particularly in my lower back and hips. The water provided a weightless sensation that was incredibly soothing, allowing me to move more freely and comfortably than on land. I also appreciated the focus on breathing techniques and relaxation, which were helpful for both physical and mental well-being.

The class was well-structured, with a mix of gentle aerobic exercises, stretching, and relaxation, and it was a great way to connect with other expectant mothers. It was clear that safety and comfort were priorities throughout, and I left each session feeling refreshed and empowered.

Absolutely love Beyond the Bump! I did the baby massage course here and it was brilliant - perfect class for a newborn. Their play cafe sessions are fantastic, too. Just what you need when you’ve got an older baby or toddler who wants to move around. Could not recommend them more!

Absolutely loved bringing my little one to the baby massage course. Still using the techniques now over a year on. Met some lovely ‘mum friends’ who I’m still in touch with. Great welcoming place for new mums. Somewhere you can feel comfortable feeding and actually enjoy a drink while it’s still hot. Xxx

Both my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the antenatal course. We went in with no idea what to expect and knowing we had a awful lot to learn.

Melissa and Vicky were fantastic. Each week was really well paced and we are both so much more comfortable about the birth and babies arrival.

We now have a good idea of how to advocate for ourselves and our birthing decisions, some great tips on necessities and extras and a great starting point on breast feeding.

I cannot recommend their antenatal course enough, it's easy to see why they are award winners.

We attended glitter bugs and had a fabulous time. The venue was super clean, calm and relaxing. Booking online was easy and straight forward too. Looking forward to attending some more sessions in their new space soon.

Me and my husband recently attended the beyond the bump group antenatal classes and had such a fantastic experience. Melissa, Vicky and Katie are all so lovely and welcoming and very knowledgeable.

The sessions were very detailed but also were interactive and incorporated activities to make things more interesting. I can't directly compare to other antenatal classes but I felt they were very open and impartial and wanted to be able to empower us to make informed decisions, equip us with all the knowledge about all the possible scenarios related to giving birth and how to navigate some of the obstacles that can sometimes arise in the sadly under resourced NHS.

The setting is very cosy and we were given hot water bottles, hot drinks and biscuits! We were also given little goody bags and discounts /recommendations of other professionals e.g. pregnancy massage, chiropractor etc.

What was also really great was that it did not all end once the classes were finished, they set up a WhatsApp group with all the other parents and are very happy to answer questions and provide ongoing support, as well as help arrange a post birth meet up with all the babies.

I'm so glad we discovered beyond the bump and am very excited to bring our baby (once they are here!) to their other events like baby massage and coffee mornings!
