My Dad stayed here for 2 weeks respite care and I was very impressed with Bernadette House. The walls are covered with artwork and paintings created by staff and residents and there are lots of activities arranged for residents. There is a decidedly bright and happy atmosphere about the place and the staff are very professional and genuinely caring and gentle. It was the first time my Dad has spent any time in a care home and he was quite content there. We hope he'll be able to go again this year. Recommended.

This was our family’s first experience of a Care Home and we all had mixed emotions and were very anxious of our precious Dad going into care, to be looked after, towards the end of his life.

Right from the beginning when Dad came into the home we were impressed by Fay who was very informative and explained about the care that was being provided and all the procedures very thoroughly. This was at a difficult time during lockdown.
At this point our nerves were dismissed and we all realised that we had found a lovely home where Dad was being cared for.

Dad had always prior refused to go into a care home. Not once did he mention this whilst he was a resident in Bernadette House which just proves that he was happy and was being well looked after by ALL the lovely, caring staff.

Fay is a fantastic Manager and leads a superb team who all clearly have respect for her which is lovely to see. She has always been very responsive to any questions and visit requests and kept us informed when Dad was declining in health as she had always promised to do.

What makes Bernadette House get a Five Star review from us is the genuine Staff – it is clear to see this is not just a job to them.
They always great you with a smile, work extremely hard and are very friendly and sympathetic yet professional.

It was always difficult leaving Dad after visits but knowing there was a member of staff always popping into see him gave us great heartfelt relief.

We really cannot praise and thank the staff enough for the lovely care they provided Dad right up until the end of his life for which we will be forever grateful.
Special thanks to Jacqueline, you are a truly caring person and I am so pleased you were with us and Dad when he sadly took his last breath.

Bernadette House is an exemplary care home. The staff are genuinely caring & patient. The meals are well cooked & very tasty, with fresh food & vegetables being sourced from local suppliers. The home has been completely refurbished, with lovely large comfortable bedrooms.

Well run care home set in a lovely location in Lincoln - Light and airy.

The activities put on are varied and accommodating for all. The wish list is a great idea and it seems no wish is too far fetched - Cue the Penguins, the Alpacas and feeding Lambs!

There are regular updates through Facebook.
It's so nice to see.

Bernadette house is a Lovely place i really enjoyed meeting all the Residents
I throught the garden was lovely and i felt really welcomed when i arrived this morning the staff are really friendly and very nice and it was nice to have a look around the care home everyone was so nice at Bernadette house thats the sort of places i like were i feel happy and relaxed and this morning for me
Was amazeing so i will give Bernadette 5 stars from me because
I really enjoyed meeting all the staff and i had such a lovely time this morning
And the care home is amazeing i loved all the art work on the walls and

Staff are nice but management is only after the money for the room not caring for residents. The senior was always in a foul mood and very rude to staff an residents
